Lauryn “Diva” Hill
Dolby Live - Las Vegas
I was upset at the fact that the concert was supposed to start at 8:30 pm but it started at 10:30 pm. Her DJ came out at 9 pm to entertain us for 1 1/2 hours. She was really good but we were not there for a 21 & over club scene. At this point everyone just wanted a refund and that’s when Lauryn came out, finally, to perform. She did put on one hell of a show for 1 hr 45 min. The word is that she’s known for either being 2 hrs late or just not showing up at all. Even though I enjoyed the show I wouldn’t pay to see her again because that’s not a risk that I’m willing to take.

Ms Hill = 10, Dolby Live Sound = 2
Dolby Live - Las Vegas
Ms. Hill put on an amazing show, and 25+ years on you hear her influence in so many young artists in Hip-hop and R&B, but the sound in the Dolby Live was terrible. Not sure who was mixing the show but it was a muddy mess.

I got to watch a Legend perform.
Dolby Live - Las Vegas
Lauryn Hill was Amazing! She put on a wonderful show and I enjoyed every minute of her performance. The DJ kept the crowd going until she graced us with her presence. It was worth every penny and the Dolby theatre was nice and clean. The event staff were friendly and helpful as well .

Gratitude...Another amazing experience!
Another Amazing experience offered by Ms. Lauryn Hill! She offers a true experience. Her vocals, her lyrics, truly touch your soul. She offered both some of the known songs and what felt like remake versions that were Fire! It was really special to see an example of her impact in watching newer fans (those who had not seen her live), transitioned to out of their seat, dancing and truly impacted by the experience of her singing. I was on my feat almost the entire time...one song after another! I have seen her perform before and will, if possible, see her anytime I have the opportunity in the future. There are some artist who truly touch hearts and souls...Ms. Lauryn Hill...you are, and always will be one of them...Thank you! Grateful for you!

Lauryn Hill
Dolby Live - Las Vegas
We always enjoy concerts in Vegas, especially in Vegas and the Dolby Theater. There is never a bad seat in the house and the sound is always on point. I was looking forward to the concert with Lauryn Hill. The only disappointing part was that she was 2 hours late. and we were all getting restless. The music was still great -- it looked like she didn't really want to be there and seemed like the sound in her monitors was never good enough. Still love the venue but will think twice about seeing Lauryn Hill live.

LAURYN HILL IN CONCERT:
As a member of the Fugees and a decorated solo artist, the legendary Ms. Lauryn Hill broke new ground for female artists in hip hop, becoming one of the most dominant musical figures of the '90s and the first hip-hop artist to take home a Grammy for Album of the Year. With new material and a critically-acclaimed tour in 2013, Hill proved she hasn't lost her edge – or her voice – taking the stage with a full backing band and breathing new life into her catalog of hits with updated arrangements, extensive improvisation, and dramatic readings of her socially conscious verses.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"Do not sleep on Lauryn! She is back. She was on point! This is what music has been missing!"
"The vibe was continuously raised to higher heights. What is quickly apparent is that this is no traditional act – from the beginning a very unique and nostalgic vibe is set through the familiar set list, but against brand new arrangements that drive the classic material head first into the multi-genre-infused present."
"Epic performance by Lauryn Hill. She killed it in every way possible. So happy I was able to be a part of it."
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Hill rose to international fame when the Fugees' seminal 1996 album The Score topped charts around the world, earning a Grammy for her spellbinding cover of Roberta Flack's "Killing Me Softly." The group’s dissolution in 1997 did nothing to hinder her success – 1998’s The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, her only solo studio album to date, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, landed a No. 1 single with “Doo Wop (That Thing)”, and took home five Grammys, including Album of the Year. A seasoned performer, Hill continued to impress fans in 2013 with her substance-over-style approach, building excitement for the much-anticipated 2014 release of her sophomore album Letters From Exile.
