This was such a fun show - the music was music that everyone knows, and singing was encouraged! The cast had so much energy and really captured the artists. The best voice of the show was Matt Manuel, who played Marvin Gaye. Definitely a must-see if you're near a show!
Oh my goodness, Motown the Musical was so good! I highly recommend it. So much fun hearing and seeing the great music of awesome artists we came to love back in the day being performed by these young actors/dancers/singers. Awesome cast! Amazing costumes! Truly enjoyable and memorable production. Both my aunt and cousin and I were very glad we saw it.
The show was great but the actress that played Diana Ross was outstanding!
I loved it; my son, who was with me, wasn't as enthusiastic, wishing there were fewer songs with more time for each. The set was uninspired, but the cast was -- we agreed -- superb.
My husband and I both were thumbs up for this production. The actors were talented and entertaining, the musical numbers had you dancing in the seats! Even though the show was named 'Motown' this was the Barry Gordy story as told by Barry Gordy so it did get a little thick at times (still can't figure out the 'I can't get it up for Diana' scene) but overall a totally enjoyable experience.
The voices were awesome! I wanted to hear more of most of the songs, not snippets of the songs! They crammed it with 50 songs. Less songs, fuller versions would have been much more interactive with the audience.

Great actors and actresses with a very close feel and stage presence.I was in the front room and thoroughly enjoyed the show, they bring the crowd into the fun and it reminds you of the good times when music made you feel good. They most definitely bring back the joy and the young lady who played Diana Ross and young man who played Berry Gordy were awesome! The entire cast brought it and I'llsee it over and over again.
Entertaining, interactive and an overall great show
Great parking at a reason able price directly across from the Theater. The cast was incredible the singing was just like you remember it growing up. And Diana Ross WOW...

Everything about the show was great. Had me dancing and singing from curtain up to Curtin down.
This musical is based on a wonderful American success story about great music and outstanding artists which written so poorly and performed so badly that the ushers opening the exit doors was the highlight of the evening.

The Motown musical was very enjoyable with good entertainment and very informative. Would see again!!!!! I would encourage everyone to see it..
This was a gift to my sister and husband. Her comment was this was one of the best shows she has ever seen. Now one of her favorites. And added the some of the performers were better than the originals.

What a fun show! The singers we're outstanding, the energy non-stop, and the songs and story so memorable. My only criticism is the portrayal of Stevie Wonder, I thought it did not give him enough credit in the history of Motown. The actress who portrayed Diana Ross... perfection!
One of my favorite shows, singing was incredible, clever and engaging way of telling the story and bought me right back to a different era. Highly recommend!
We had such a wonderful time this evening at the Cadillac Palace. The music, the sets, the story, the performances. It took me back to when I was a kid and brought back great memories. I'm so happy that I was able to see the show.
