About

Mötley Crüe in Concert

After more than three decades of headbanging, heavy metal bad boys Mötley Crüe announced that 2015’s The Final Tour would be their last ever, giving fans one final opportunity to see Tommy Lee and company in the flesh before the curtain falls for good. The band has always been a revered live act for their showmanship and over-the-top performances, but their 2013 shows were their biggest and fieriest yet, featuring pyrotechnics beyond fans’ wildest dreams – including the late Nikki Sixx’s legendary flamethrower bass. With 72 North American dates in 2014 and international dates to follow, the Crüe are doing it big in true form, burning bright to the very last guitar solo.

Formed in LA in 1981 by guitarist Nikki Six and drummer Tommy Lee, Mötley Crüe was quickly rounded out with the addition of lead guitarist Mick Mars and singer Vince Neil. The band became notorious in the early ‘80s for their glam image and hard partying lifestyle, but it was 1983 sophomore album Shout at the Devil that made them international superstars. 1985’s Theatre of Pain and 1987’s Girls, Girls, Girls would prove even more successful, spawning ‘80s hard rock staples like “Smokin’ in the Boys Room” and “Home Sweet Home.” With 100 million albums sold worldwide, Mötley Crüe endures as one of the greatest heavy metal bands of all time, making their 2014 farewell tour a bittersweet last hurrah for their legions of fans.

Fans Who Bought Tickets Say

“Motley Crue still rules the rock scene after 30+ years of recording and performing. They played songs from virtually all albums and song selection was sure to please any Motley fan.”

“Motley ALWAYS delivers an amazing show. Seeing the Crue doing what they do best in Sin City couldn't have been any better. The pyro was over-the-top amazing.”

“This Motley Crue concert was the best Crue concert ever. The fire and pyros were awesome. They really outdid themselves. They sounded great too.”

Mötley Crüe on Tour

The world's most iconic and celebrated rock legends hit the road in the summer of 2020 for a coheadlining tour so massive that it could only be held in America's biggest stadiums. The Stadium Tour featuring Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe, with Poison and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts hit select cities in the U.S. where each band brings their electrifying stage shows while promising to perform their stadium sized anthems.

Following the huge success of their Netflix biopic "The Dirt," Mötley Crüe has seen a massive surge in new audience with fans around the world demanding the band tour again. While "The Dirt" caused a meteoric 350% increase in streams of Mötley Crüe's music across all platforms and the younger 18-44 demographic now represents 64% of the band's fanbase most of the new fans have never seen any of the band's legendary live shows that Crüeheads have relished for close to four decades. Mötley Crüe is also celebrating the 30th Anniversary of their #1 charting, 7x Platinum album, "Dr. Feelgood" in 2019. Lots of fun

    by Art V on 8/21/23

Had a great time. Great music took me back to the 70's and 80's. My 23 year old son also really enjoyed the music. I would like to see the Sun Bowl stadium upgrade from bench seating to individual seats.

    Def Leppard

by Montley Crüe concert on 8/21/23

All 3 bands were awesome. The parking, entrance and vendors were terrible. Needs improvement, UTEP I'm very disappointed with you.

    Motley Crue

    by Al on 8/21/23

They were ok, not good, but ok. Alot going on to distract you from the fact that Vince sounded horrible. the band sounded good tho, kinda. The best part of their show was Tommy's wife. Also, no drum solo, that was the only reason i wanted to see them. Now I can say I finally saw Crue live, but disappointed. Def Leppard blew them out of the water.

    Motley Crue underperformed

    by Patty on 8/21/23

Alice cooper and Def Leppard killed it and honestly saved the show for my wife and I. Motley Crue from the start of their portion of the show just didn’t give the same energy as the other 2 sets. Unrelated to the bands the concessions there were god awful. My wife waited in line for 1.5hr to get water and missed a lot of good stuff. And she didn’t even get the water because their card machine wasn’t working! We enjoyed the setup and environment.

Totally awesome. A must see. Def leppard ages Like wine. Crue awesome. Not the same without mick. It's time for the crue to move past the Sexual content. It's about the music. Alice rocked.

    Motley crew!!

by Good as ever!! on 8/21/23

Good as ever!!! Good condition. The only thing is the reception to get the electronic thickets on site(sun bowl) was hard or impossible. We need a better way to show our tickets at entrance.

    Total lack of info

    by Brise on 8/21/23

No time was put for when the show actually started just 5:45, is that when doors open? What? The venue was a NIGHTMARE, no clear parking, the building you were allowed to park in had signs saying permit event parking, no indication on wherr to get a permit, and then agter 2 almost 3 hours waiting to find parking, ended up missing Alice Cooper. Poorly planned and lack of info, would not go to this venue again.

    Awesome show, lame venue

    by patog on 8/21/23

Motley, Def Leppard and Alice Cooper totally nailed it, it was a hell of a show that many of us will never forget, I was glad to find out that Vince Neil actually put up a great performance despite so many articles stating that he wasn't singing well anymore, the audio was ok, the visuals were great, but the venue... oh my God! The Venue! Lame organization, the entrance became a whole disaster, I've been at bigger stadiums and they know how to handle it, sadly this is not the case at the Sun Bown Stadium, gaining access was a total headache, as if that wasn't enough, seats were not clearly displayed and many people ended up seating in the wrong place, during the entire concert there were newcomers asking people to move, and picture my surprise when it was my turn, this lady suddenly stated I was in her seat and she was right! And that happened because the numbers on the seats are all foggy and vanished, it was super embarrassing.

    Motley Crue concert

    by Chacho on 8/21/23

Concert was really great. I loved all three bands, but I have to admit I really, really loved Alice Cooper. I have seen Alice Cooper 10 times and would still see him another 10. I wish El Paso would bring in a lot more rock concerts like this one, like we used to get in the 70's and 80's, but unfortunately rock concerts are very few now in El Paso for some reason. We literally have to go out of town for them. Why doesn't El Paso bring in these bands now? Is it because rock and country bands don't want to come here or is it because El Paso doesn't want them here?

    80s ROCKin

    by Bucko on 8/21/23

Highly anticipated concert - touted as the last stop of their World Tour. Excited crowd, great theatrics and an overall fun event. Downside: El Paso Sun Bowl is NOT equipped for that size of a crowd. Parking was a disaster. Their concession areas were too small. There was gridlock for everything…. Their security was solid though and crowd management seemed effective by the event staff.

    Motley Crue Rocks

    by Cruefan on 8/21/23

The concert itself was amazing however I was not impressed with the venue. The lines for everything were ridiculous. From getting in, getting drinks or food and the bathrooms. It was all mad chaos.

    Final show awful

    by Tony on 8/21/23

The sound of the 1st 2 shows were great. The one I was really looking forward to, MOTLEY CRUE, was terrible. Worst experience ever by them

    Great concert! Awful organization.

    by Joe Mero on 8/21/23

The concert it's self was really good. Still, we missed the fisrt act and 2 songs from the second. But we all ( people on the floor ) had a really bad experience. Starting with the entrance, the kids with the metal detectors took over a minute, some times, to let the people through. We were thousands, imagine that! and after that, when reaching the floor, we were asked to get the bracelet, when we reach the spot, there were 2 girls, one cutting the bracelets and one putting them on to the persons in line to get it. There were hundreds in line, it was ridiculous. There were so many persons so frustrated with this. Among us. Any way, if there is ever another concert in this venue, a much needed improvement is requiered for the organization.

    Impressed

    by Gatch on 8/21/23

I really came to see Def Leppard and Alice Cooper but Motley Crew didn't disappoint. By the time they came out the sun was down and the field was tolerable.

Great Show but Venue was Unorganized

    by Sharon on 8/21/23

Alice Cooper, Def Leppard and Motley Crue were great. The venue was very disorganized and did not make it easy to know where you needed to go. We had floor seats and dint know we needed to stand in line for a bracelet to get on the floor. It would be nice that there is better direction when you come into the venue.

    UTEP BAD VENUE

    by C.Rod on 8/21/23

Concert was awesome, but UTEP’s services was really bad. Poor traffic planning and took for ever to get in. Once in you could not move around to get to your seats. Unorganized vendors everywhere and people couldn’t walk through. Once at the floor, I was told that I needed a bracelet and to go back up where I had come from. Then there was a long unorganized line to get the bracelet. This is not how you run a concert. So don’t ever attend a UTEP event.
