Overall, the show is about the very good. Everyone does their job well. However, The Name of the Game" – Sophie has something weird, some high peak is not high enough to locate in the correct place. It's very neat to use the real flash light in the last scene.

    Energy was AMAZING!

by HarperLLD on 11/14/15Cadillac Palace - Chicago

The poster outside the theater said, "YOU KNOW YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE IT"...and we did! Acting was fantastic! Singing and dancing was entertaining and captivating. The cast exuded so much joy, passion and energy! At the end of the musical the whole cast sings and dances. The energy filled the Cadillac Theater and audience members were on their feet singing and dancing along. What a magical feeling!

The acting and voices were great. Sophie's voice a little weak but lovely tone. I felt the whole production was rushed though.

    Pure lighthearted fun

    by DanceEnthusiast1 on 11/14/15Cadillac Palace - Chicago

With Mama Mia, you kind of know what you're getting and that's a good thing. An evening of pure fun, lighthearted music, a bunch of talented actors and whole lots of glitter and platform shoes. It even had few brilliantly funny moments as a bonus. The boyfriend voice was mediocre though. Overall, highly recommended.

Took my son for his 14th birthday and we loved the show. Beautiful, talented performers. Fun to watch and had some hilarious parts. At the end, my son and I and actually everyone else stood up clapped, sang and danced. Loved it!

    Mama mia

This production was far from adequate. The main cast presented with skills comparable to a high school performance . The music never got off the ground. The vocals never rose above the instrumentals. We left at intermission. I felt like it was a complete waste of money. I have never walked out of a play in my life, but I did on Wednesday 11/11/15 the 2:00 performance. I was terrible.

    Lots of energy

by daveschan on 11/13/15Cadillac Palace - Chicago

Mamma Mia! is a cute story of a young woman's quest to find her father as she plans her wedding on the Greek Isle that she grew up on. The entire cast was enthusiastic. I'd seen the movie, and the story line included both familiar and new songs. It was a very enjoyable evening out.

    Mamms Mia

    by tennismom3 on 11/13/15Cadillac Palace - Chicago

This is the third time I have seen Mamma Mia . The show was average. Donna did an amazing job and has a beautiful voice, but unfortunately the cast was not miked very well and their voices went in and out. The energy just was not as dynamic as I have seen in the past.

I was very disappointed to realize that this is a non equity tour. To be charging the ticket prices you do for a production that had a much lesser production value than the previous national tours is taking advantage of your ticket holders.

    Budget Performance of Mama Mia

Great songs, of course, but no live orchestra, minimal set. Disappointing given the money we spent.

    Abba songs will live forever

    by AnnaM9 on 5/25/14Cadillac Palace - Chicago

This is not the first time I see this show and I enjoy it every time I see it. It took a song or 2 for the leading 2 ladies to warm their vocal cords, but once they did, they were unstoppable balls of energy. Some of the other actors (singers) didn't stand up to being called singers, but were funny and great as actors. All in all, if you like Abba songs and/or European music, this show is worth a watch.

You can't help but feel good watching Mamma Mia!

    by JustJules5 on 5/25/14Cadillac Palace - Chicago

It is such a fun show! My friend and I loved it; we had both seen the movie, but this was our first time seeing it performed live. It's fun because you know at least a handful of the songs, but more so, the energy the cast puts into the show keeps you energized too. The costumes are also are fabulous, with lots of sparkle... and humor! It is just a fun show to see!

    Very entertaining play

    by Excited123 on 5/22/14Cadillac Palace - Chicago

I went with the expectation that my wife would like this play and I would be bored out of my mind, but I was pleasantly surprised that I actually enjoyed it and had fun going. I have recommended it to several people.

    Amazing cast!!

by BexxEverlast on 5/21/14Cadillac Palace - Chicago

I absolutely loved this show! I've been a huge fan of the movie since I first saw it several years ago. Have never seen a musical version until now. I noticed that one song from the movie got left out at the end and there were several songs in the musical that were not in the movie at all. Not sure if they were originally a part of the musical that got cut out for the movie version, but they seemed like they didn't fit well for some reason. The mother/daughter duo was absolutely AMAZING!!!!!!! The voices of angels!!!!! There could not have been a better vocalist for these parts. The groom-to-be, however, was less polished and, although he could dance, was not a great vocalist. Loved the choreography of voulez-vous and man after midnight numbers. The set/props and staging were also great - made for easy transitions from scene to scene.
