    A Spectacle.. but not perfect.

by PsychoSinger on 11/12/18Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land - Sugar Land

Heads up: If you are going to see this production; be sure to read the description that is listed so you will somewhat know what is going on. The show has such a profound lack of storytelling ability. It's your basic good versus evil storyline but all of the major characters completely go unrecognized. Maybe a pamphlet or something would be helpful? The show itself is enjoyable. I do enjoy all things Celtic and this is no different. Besides the lack of story explanation, it's a good time. Ok.. well, one more complaint. After the show is over; Michael Flatley shows up on the high-def video boards and does his little step routine. Alright. I understand that this is his production and all, but I felt like he was completely trying to put himself over the entire production. Maybe show that during the intermission or something? Let your dancers and everyone involved have their chance to shine. After all; they are the ones live on stage.

Beautiful dancers, first part is enough

by Tara5 on 10/26/18Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land - Sugar Land

Dansers are talented, good looking. Show was nice and should last half of the time to keep good interest. Once they show all their moves there is not much to improve in the second part.

Lord of the dance was exciting

by LouLew on 10/24/18Majestic Theatre San Antonio - San Antonio

While the dancing was unbelievably amazing, the show itself added more than one twist of excitment. You could actually feel the tension as challenge after challenge was delivered. Just when you thought a dancer couldn't possibly be out danced ..... He was !
