With the release of Living Things in 2012, unflagging rap rock pioneers Linkin Park landed their fourth consecutive No. 1 on the Billboard 200, quickly following up in 2013 with Recharged, a remix album of the release featuring productions by Steve Aoki and KillSonik. The band's increasingly dance-oriented sound was reflected on their 2013 tour dates, which saw Aoki appearing alongside the band in a series of high-energy performances anchored by Aoki's remix of their latest single "A Light That Never Comes." The band's 2000 debut Hybrid Theory was an overnight success, becoming the top-selling album of 2001 and earning the band their first Grammy for single "Crawling." 2003 follow-up Meteora proved an even bigger success, peaking at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and spawning four No. 1 singles including fan favorites "Faint" and "Numb." The subsequent Meteora World Tour generated millions in ticket sales, firmly cementing the band's ongoing presence at the top of festival bills. In 2013, lead singer Chester Bennington announced his replacement of Scott Weiland as lead singer of '90s alternative icons Stone Temple Pilots, but fans can rest assured – Linkin Park has announced plans to release their sixth studio album with Bennington in 2014, and will perform their debut album Hybrid Theory in full at the 2014 Download Festival.

This concert was definitely a once in a lifetime event! I’m so glad I was able to go and share it with my brother!
Amazing once in a lifetime experience. I would never forget it!
I don't think this show could have been anymore perfect. Yeah, some ques were missed and mistakes were made, but to throw together a 3 hour act with so many guest performers... I am truly impressed. Chester would have been proud
Unfortunate circumstances, but none the less it was beautiful and the right way to honor Chester.
I absolutely enjoyed it. I didn’t care much for the venue (Hollywood Bowl), but the performance was EPIC! It was great being around thousands of other people who enjoyed and knew the same lyrics to the same songs you do! I just wish they’d played Given Up, but I understand nobody can come close to Chester’s scream. What a great tribute to an amazing artist. I cried a couple of times throughout the concert, but am glad I got to be a part of remembering him.
Thank you Linkin Park for a beautiful tribute to Chester, his life, his family, and your music.
Regrettably we didn't get to see LP before this event BUT we had tix to the 10/22 show!! Nonetheless the performances by his friends were Awesome. From the opening "empty mic" soliloquy by the audience to the Chester "hologram" those were the most poignant moments for us. RIP Chester & Chris.
It was AMAZING! Hands down, the best concert I've ever been to. Aside from a Linkin Park concert when Chester was alive.
This was one of the best and worst nights of my life saying goodbye to Chester. I laughed, I cried, I danced and rocked my face off.
This concert was amazing! A night I will never forget. Tons of great artists came out to honor Chester Bennington. I have to give so much credit to Mike. He was a great host and an amazing entertainer. He really wanted every fan to have a good time and I truly believe everyone who was there had a fantastic time. I also have to give credit to Chester’s wife Talinda. She did an outstanding job talking about her husband and their family. It must have been difficult to talk about him during this time, and I thought she did a wonderful job. Overall this concert was so cool! I wish the night did NOT have to end. That’s when you know you had a great time! Thank you to everyone who made this event happen. I honestly appreciated this night!
Amazing Show!!! My son and I had an amazing time! Loved all the performances.
LOVED IT! First time visiting, well worth it. Glad there are shuttles to take to the venue.
I'm soooo glad I attended this! My friend and i had terrible seats...top section but still center. I felt like I was in a helicopter. My friend said that no one would stand up in our section. But when the band came on stage...or was about to...everyone in the entire Bowl stood up including our section. I've never been to a show where the audience was so engaged for 3+ hours and on their feet for that entire time! It was a chilling, emotional, happy, funny, all together amazing experience. I'm so glad I was there! There was one song that was sung entirely by the audience. Chilling! That was surely the last ever time that the band would play together as Linkin Park. #RIPChesterBennington #MakeChesterProud
no words to describe how incredible LP/fans were!!
What an amazing event! So much emotion! Linkin Park is the best.
The whole evening and lone up were amazing! There was so much love and support for the music of linkin park, definitely a night I will always remember
Nice show as a final tribute. There were some weird performers that I would not have guessed to include like Alanis Morissette. However over all it was a decent show.
The Show was Awesome...It was emotional but Energizing at the same time. I have never been to a show where the crowd stood and sang every word of every song
The concert was extraordinary, the talent varied and remarkable, the setting perfect and the tribute to Chester moving without being maudlin. Three sold hours of great music, a wonderful feel and a tribute to a brilliant musician.
