With the release of Living Things in 2012, unflagging rap rock pioneers Linkin Park landed their fourth consecutive No. 1 on the Billboard 200, quickly following up in 2013 with Recharged, a remix album of the release featuring productions by Steve Aoki and KillSonik. The band's increasingly dance-oriented sound was reflected on their 2013 tour dates, which saw Aoki appearing alongside the band in a series of high-energy performances anchored by Aoki's remix of their latest single "A Light That Never Comes." The band's 2000 debut Hybrid Theory was an overnight success, becoming the top-selling album of 2001 and earning the band their first Grammy for single "Crawling." 2003 follow-up Meteora proved an even bigger success, peaking at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and spawning four No. 1 singles including fan favorites "Faint" and "Numb." The subsequent Meteora World Tour generated millions in ticket sales, firmly cementing the band's ongoing presence at the top of festival bills. In 2013, lead singer Chester Bennington announced his replacement of Scott Weiland as lead singer of '90s alternative icons Stone Temple Pilots, but fans can rest assured – Linkin Park has announced plans to release their sixth studio album with Bennington in 2014, and will perform their debut album Hybrid Theory in full at the 2014 Download Festival.
Linkin Park did an amazing job in celebrating the life of their friend and band mate, Chester Bennington. The band itself was fantastic and I am looking forward to seeing where they go from here. Mike's new song, Looking for an Answer, is so incredibly moving, eerie and haunting. I have been listening to it nonstop. Please never stop playing music! You are all wonderful and the things you sing about are so relevant to us all.
Once in a lifetime absolutely amazing event!! I wish it had been under better circumstances... but I don't think there could have been a better tribute to Chester's memory. Sang along, laughed, & even got a little teary-eyed at times... but it was impossible not not feel all the love from the fans... and LP & guests delivered an amazing performance!!
Title says it all. The warmth and love that pervaded the evening was evidence of the Family and Community that Linkin Park fans are. Thanks to Mike Shinoda for keeping it together when so many there wanted to cry, and for the entire band and guests who made certain that the show ended on a happy and appreciative note. Talinda's words of hope and encouragement were priceless. I am certain Chester was smiling from above; in fact, there was a star above the stage that I can only believe was his soul. Though all the LP numbers were amazing, other highlights were Alannis Morissete, Kiara's "Heavy" performance, and Blink 182. I feel so priveleged to have been there. Chester Lives!

Linkin Park played an unforgettable show to honor Chester and Mike did an amazing job taking the lead. I can't think of a better way to remember Chester and I know he couldn't have been more proud of his band members. Those who were picked to sing in Chester's place matched his voice and enthusiasm for music ( although we all know no one could ever replace him, they definitely got as close as they could get). The love from fans was felt and I will never forget this night.
The show was absolutely amazing, even though Chester was not there to witness it (R.I.P.). The Hollywood Bowl was beautiful as well, with pictures of Linkin Park everywhere and trees decorated with lights. For my first ever Linkin Park show....this was a great experience and possibly the best concert I've ever witnessed.
The show was absolutely breathtaking and moving. I had such an amazing experience and all the artist especially Linkin Park brought their A game, in the most awesome preformces that made me laugh, made me cry, made dance until my thighs were on fire.
What an absolutely amazing night. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was blown away. The venue looked so great with all the lights and things that were setup. It was super crowded so not sure if it was oversold but everyone was having a great time and there was no drama!
This was an amazing show. I've watched the YouTube taping and it doesn't do the performance justice. You just HAD to be there to experience it.
The show alone was three hours!! 3 hours of Linkin Park! Amazing & Emotional show from start to finish!
I wasn't sure what to expect from Linkin Park without Chester. Everyone knows that Chester can NEVER be replaced but the way the show was done, was absolutely amazing!!! The show was so well put together and one of the best shows I have ever seen. Tears and happiness. Bittersweet! #makechesterproud. Linkin Park did just that!!! FABULOUS SHOW!

It was a great show with a lot of heart. So glad I got to go and pay my respect to Chester and the band. Chester will be missed.

I wasn't sure how this was going to be like. I was crying at the beginning but enjoying the performances at the same time. I know this was for Chester but it was not the same without him. I know he's with us in spirit but I still haven't come to terms that he is gone. I love Linkin Park and Chester and will always support them. I do hope to see them together again.
Great show!! The celebration of a great man who changed many lives!!!! He will be missed but never forgotten! Had such a great time and enjoyed every second of it! LP will always be a part of me!!!
Brad, Rob, Joe, Phoenix, and Mike. Strongest guys ever to put on this celebration in honor of Chester. Amazing and amazingly sad at the same time.
