    L'Arc en Ciel powers Garden

by General1912 on 3/28/12Madison Square Garden - New York

Great show; historic night. It obviously meant a lot to Hyde being there, and the band gave it their all. It would have been nice if new LP 'Butterfly' were more readily available for purchase here (I couldn't find it even at Kinokuniya), or at least on sale at the concert, but no matter. Tonight was a good night. I saw lots of video cameras around; let's hope there's a DVD. p.s. Great job starting before 9pm! I got home at a comfortable hour, but that break before the encore sure was LONG. Maybe, they were looking for extra impromptu fan footage to put on the hoped-for DVD.

If they come again I would be there in a heartbeat

by AylaLumis on 3/28/12Madison Square Garden - New York

Absolutely wonderful. I'm not a major concert goer so I honestly don't know the standards for a great concert but I had a great time and the atmosphere was infectious. The band was energetic and the fans much the same. Fireworks, pyrotechnics and feathers. They went all out for this one! I would go again if they ever came back to the States.

    Wicked awesome!

by saturane on 3/28/12Madison Square Garden - New York

The choice of songs were great, especially loved how they mixed new and old songs. Stage prop like background graphics and fireworks were exciting. Would definitely see them again.

Anyone who attended this concert can say that L'arc really put up an amazing show. I really hope that we get to see them in America again, soon.

The concert was way better than I expected. They paid close attention to the list of songs their fans in the US would like and played those.

    Most amazing night ever!!!

by bb21202 on 3/27/12Madison Square Garden - New York

Going into this i knew to expect a great show, but L'arc-en-ciel blew me away. never did i expect the huge screens, the fireworks and all that. it was the most spectacular show i've been to, ever!! and i've been to a few, lol. A lot of my friends went as well. the only bad thing was, since we each bought our own tickets, we didn't get a chance to sit together. but even with that, we all had an amazing time.

    L'arc en ciel Awesomeness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

by Pandagirl6662003 on 3/27/12Madison Square Garden - New York

I was so excited to hear about this concert. It was Even Better then I'd Hoped for. Hyde was glorious as usual. tetsuya was amazing and funny. ken was superb. and yukihiro totally killed those drums. I loved the light shows. i was a little disappointed that coming closer hadn't been performed but you win some and lose some. This Concert was worth every penny and the hassle of getting to new york. I hope they come back again!!!!. In the future i will be bringing more money so i can get souvenirs.

    Night of my Dreams!

by Takahashikun on 3/27/12Madison Square Garden - New York

The crowd was pumping, at least four different languages could be heard throughout the excited crowd as the background music was tested over and over again. As soon as the first glimpse of Hyde and the band emerged there was cheering and clapping throughout the show. Glowsticks swayed rhythmically, fans sang along, it was a moment of global unity. No one's race, gender, nationality, or skin color was a factor that night, just the beautiful and pumping music of the Monster Band from Japan, L'arc~En~Ciel.

    Amazing Vocal

by Tidash on 3/27/12Madison Square Garden - New York

When I got my ticket, it said obstructed view and got me all worried, but when I actually went, the seat was not as "OBSTRUCTED" as I thought, I was actually pretty close to the stage, it was just that I was at a corner where the rolling camera sometimes got in the way. THE SHOW ON THE OTHER HAND WAS AMAZING. The vocal was better @ live then on CD. (the vocal blew my soul). It totally blew my mind away. It was worth it to go see them live. It was an incredible experience that I'd never forget.

    Absolutely amazing.

by nippon1234 on 3/27/12Madison Square Garden - New York

The concert was amazing, full of energy, and most of all extremely entertaining. L'Arc en Ciel is a great band and is the first Asian band that I fell in love with. I was so glad I attending the concert and could not ever think that they would disappoint. The staff at MSG was chill and let the fans do their thing. L'Arc en Ciel is just so talented and knows how to give us a good show and laugh.

    Amazing

by Tamaphobia on 3/27/12Madison Square Garden - New York

I considered not going because the venue was far away for me, but I'm so glad I went. They played a mix of old and new songs and gave time for each band member to shine and show fun parts of their personality. If you go to one of their shows, definitely try to sit closer. I had a seat in section F, but later found a seat in section C and was still two rows too far for one of their many surprises of the night.

    Best show ever!

by Rinhriveiel on 3/27/12Madison Square Garden - New York

This was the best show I've ever attended (and I've been to plenty)! The venue was plenty organized, staff was helpful, and it was easy to order tour goods and reach our seats. Madison Square Garden aside, L'Arc~en~Ciel delivered a fabulous performance, as always! It was my first time seeing one of their concerts in person (rather than a dvd), and I was not disappointed. All members were in top form, and moved around the stage to interact more with the entire audience. They played a good range of older and newer songs, so those of us who were hoping for old numbers were not disappointed. As usual, they wowed with the special effects on the screens, fireworks, confetti, and feathers, and tetsuya threw plenty of bananas and lollipops to the audience. ;D I will definitely attend another L'Arc~en~Ciel live in the USA, if they return again!

    L'arc the best

by Beru on 3/27/12Madison Square Garden - New York

The show was great, the setlist was very balanced including new and classic songs, it could have been more into the rock than the balads, but it was great at the end. Ken was really funny and the solos were a great surprise, hyde as always was the best, his voice, his movements, the way he dances and talks to the people was as always something unforgetable. The stage's screens were amazing. The only downside were the audience, as south-americans me and my friends are use to be very participative, we found the american and japanese audience to be a little cold, most of them just sitting there, not even moving their heads.

    Awesome

by LKen4826 on 3/27/12Madison Square Garden - New York

It was best live ever! I knew I was gonna have great time ever but it was more than that! I really enjoyed the show. I kind of wish if they played New World, Killing Me, and Seventh Heaven. But overall, it was by far the best live ever! It was great moment of my life that I got to see the first Japanese band to be on the Madison Square Garden. I'm really proud of my band, L'Arc~en~Ciel!!!!!

    Incredible show!

by FMWNJ on 3/27/12Madison Square Garden - New York

This show was fantastic. The fact that there was even an opportunity to see them that didn't require a passport made it even more incredible. There was no opening act which I didn't mind at all. I liked the fact that the minute the lights went down, I was going to see who I paid to see. I had middle section floor seats but the stage was up high enough that I could see fairly well. They sound great live, and everyone was really pumped and enthusiastic. They have a large catalog of music so of course some of my favorites were missed, but I heard many songs I hadn't heard before including ones that were entirely in English. Hyde is a great performer, and each memeber got to demonstrate his abilities on his instrument. They had some pyro and vivid backgrounds with each song caputring the feel of the music and I think it kept everyone going. The show itself was about 2 - 2 1/2 hours long, although there was an unusually lengthy wait period between the time when they initially leave the stage and then come back for the last one or two songs. I thought maybe they had actually finished, but they eventually returned. I really enjoyed the show and look forward to the next time they come to NYC or whenever I get a chance to go to Japan.
