Karen and her band put on an excellent show. Nice variations of traditional Christmas music.
The food before the show was good and the show was great! In addition to the very talented Karen Newman, the show also highlighted the very talented musicians who performed with her.
I would highly recommend the Karen Newman Christmas Concert. The venue and length of the concert was perfect for a Sunday evening show! Looking forward to next year's concert! Merry Christmas!

Third year with my girlfriend to see Karen--hope she comes back every ever year! That Girl can Sing----and her beauty!
I didn't know what to expect. Went to see the opening act, the By The Way girls, who were great! Karen Newman is an amazing performer -- she looks great, is a wonderful ad-libber, and is so generous and gracious in giving other performers their due. But most of all, she is such a talent (and knows how to select talent)!!! A great show!!!
Fantastic!! Loved thtat she seems motre at ease and comfortable in this setting. We attended last year's show. I was good but this one seemed more personal and relazing.
I read good reviews about the concert so I expected it to be a solid show but this was much better than I had even imagined it would be. The opening act was fun with this young girl group called By The Way, followed by the gospel choir, Selected of God (made famous by the Chrysler Eminem ad) who sang their all. Karen Newman was a delight and so much more than what you hear at regular hockey games. Musicians and the arrangements for the songs were phenomenal and often had different twists on the songs. There were some fun tunes but also some classic Christmas hymns which really makes for a great holiday show for the whole family. She paused to raise money for St. John Providence's mobile mammogram program which was a nice touch and showed her good heart. It was easy and quick on your smartphone and didn't derail the program. There were shirts available that said Christmas Eve on Woodward Ave which was a great souvenir from the show that can be worn year after year.
