It was so good to see JE again after not seeing him since pre-COVID. It brought back so many memories of following him from NJ to PA to VA; many late nights and, always good times. My only regret is that the show was only two hours; not enough to do him justice or get my fill. He has so many more great songs to sing.
John and his Dirty Band played tight and killed it for a great performance. All the classic JE songs and the usual cover songs. A show that was more of a tribute to the faithful as everyone was singing along and did not see too many newbs. Raise your cocktails and bottles to JE and AA, PK, Teddy and David !! Bonus acoustic set after the show at the Casino's Daughteries restaurant/bar. Fantastic! The only downside was the 10 pm curfew imposed by the casino, really? I don't get that ...poor decision on the casino management...aren't we there for a good time?? Let the music play longer.
The concert itself was amazing and John Eddie put on a great show. My biggest complaint was I paid for seats up close to the stage and people from the back came down and got right up at the stage which made it crowded for where we were sitting along with, not being able to seeing the performer at times. Several times I had to ask gentlemen who would stand right in front of me to move because I couldn’t see.
Always an amazing show from John. So much energy for a human. And a lot of cool swagger! A must see artist!!!
JE and his band put on a great show. Lots of energy and sounded fantastic.
It was hot. Sweat was pouring.... And John and his band were everything a concert always has been.... Great sound. Amazing set structure. High energy. Superb light show. An audience that played it's part to bring the concert a full 360°. Both nights were among the top five shows I've ever seen... only issue... I'm not sure which of the two nights took 1st place but I am sure they own the number one and number two spots. Let's do it again in a month!
I’ve been following John Eddie since the ‘80s. Seen him in many incarnations over the years but never have I seen anything like this. He and the band haven’t lost a step. Incredible sound, electric audience, and being at The Stone Pony again was the cherry on top. Cannot wait until next month at The Ardmore!!!
Great show from the beginning till the end. Brought back great memories from seeing him way back when. (Especially Birch Hill). Hope he does more concerts as I’d love to be a groupie again !
John Eddie's shows this weekend were OUTSTANDING. It felt like being in a time warp, transported to 20 years ago. The energy level, both in the band and in the crowd, was amazing EVERYONE was 100% committed. So great to have John back. And there's no better place to see him than The Stone Pony. Can't wait for his next appearance.
What a fantastic return to the stone pony!!! John and the band were so tight. PK and Kenny were amazing. John was engaging and seemed thrilled to be performing to the raucous crowd!!! It was a great night
