Rating: 3 out of 5Awesome show, terrible seating, lots and lots of staff
by That Red on 4/13/24City National Grove of Anaheim - AnaheimLoved seeing a comedy legend and his "Sabre-toothed Daughter"live. Screening was nerdy fun.
The seating however was awful. We were packed in on hotel banquet hall style chairs that were zip-tied together. I kept elbowing the poor lady next to me as we were both trying to stay comfortable. Sitting for 3 hours like that was like being in the middle seat on an airplane. Claustrophobic and tiring. Maybe sell fewer tickets and give the zip tied rows a rest.
The staff were everywhere before the show, constantly cutting back and fourth through the line of people waiting for drinks in the reception area, milling around the lobby, etc. Maybe they were trying to look busy, but it was annoying to see that much staff wandering around such a small venue.
