Il Divo, the internationally renowned classical crossover quartet, were formed in the U.K. by television personality and veteran record executive Simon Cowell in 2004. The original lineup reflected the group’s boundless inspirations and universal appeal, with each member hailing from a different country: tenor David Miller from the United States, tenor Urs Bühler from Switzerland, baritone Sébastien Izambard from France, and the late baritone Carlos Marín from Spain. Starting with their 2004 self-titled debut album, Il Divo have released five Top 10 albums and sold over 30 million records worldwide. 2005’s Ancora became Il Divo’s first No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and their 2009 world tour earned the group the Billboard Breakthrough Award for making Billboard Boxscore’s top tour recap for the first time in their career. Over two decades, the quartet have experimented with a blend of opera and pop, reinventing standards from Motown to Christmas classics and collaborating with Celine Dion, Toni Braxton, Leona Lewis, and more. Following the loss of Marín in December 2021, in 2023, American baritone Steven LaBrie became a full-time member.

The Il Divo guys have beautiful voices, but the band drowned out their voices and the orchestra. You could see the guys hold the mic to their face, but the beauty of the songs was totally drowned out by the band! I'm sure the orchestra was lovely, and you could hear them on the soft beginnings of some of the songs, but as soon as the band came in, they, too, were drowned out. Il Divo has never traveled this close to me, and I was very excited to hear them in person, after listening to and loving their songs for many years. And the light show got a little busy and often shined in our faces so we couldn't see anything for a while till they moved. So, in general I was thrilled to see them, but very disappointed by their voices being drowned out for most of the concert. I did enjoy meeting the new guy, Steve, and loved is voice and personality! He sounded so much like Carlos, and those are hard shoes to fill! The friend I took to the concert suffers from Tinnitus and was in horrible discomfort and told me after the concert, he held his hands over his ears, and then he could hear the guys voices, but prayed every song was the last, he was suffering so. TONE THE BAND DOWN! I thought a nice piano and the orchestra would have been lovely. We are there to hear the IlDivo voices, not the bank!
The group Il Divo is totally amazing. I have been to a few of their concerts, and they are all amazing, but this concert was just the best! I was wondering how it would be without Carlos, because we loved him and miss him terribly, but even though Carlos cannot be replaced, Steve filled in beautifully. His baritone voice left you in awe. The four of them together, as well as individually, make up something magical. Not only is their singing beyond incredible, they are all also very funny and entertaining. They are the total package and I hope they bless us with their beautiful voices and personalities in concert for many, many years to come! They do not disappoint! You will LOVE it!!!
The entire concert was excellent from beginning to end, and at the conclusion I could have immediately watched it all over again! It was that good! This was my second time to attend one of their concerts, and I hope to attend another.
I can’t believe I finally got to see Il Divo in person! The concert of a lifetime! Great music, great stage show, great venue!
List of songs are ok. Solo performances are good, but when they do joint performance sound gets lost and song is basically ruined. Not sure is it sound issue in the theater or something else. Prices close to the Bocelli concerts but quality and experinces are far behind
When i got the tickets it said center. It wasnt center but more to the right. Lots of Bass came thru the speakers. Otherwise great show
Evertime i see IL Divo they are the greatest. Seen 5 times.
Concert was absolutely amazing and entrance was easy. Ildivo is four talented men who sing a variety of styles, and they want to share their love of music.
As a fan who listened to their music since I was 11, IL DIVO means so much to me. Really happy to see the DIVOs thriving even after the loss of Carlos. Thank you for being there all the time and still giving us amazing music.
I enjoyed a wonderful evening listening to the melding of Il Divo’s gorgeous voices, which brought me to tears more than once. My only comment is that it would be nice to be able to get better seats without breaking the bank - I was in row G and the rake of the seats was very slight and it was difficult seeing over the top of the head of the 6’ tall woman in front of me - and I am also 6’ tall!
The venue was beautiful. Il divo never lets me down. Their music and their friendship is wonderful. They always live up to my expectations!
This concert was one of the best concerts I have ever been on. Il divo guys has almost beautiful voices I have ever heard ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️definitely it was mind blowing how beautiful this concert was. Definitely I’m going to Il Divo concert again. Hope they will be in Illinois next year!! LOVE YOU GUYS!!
Il Divo gave a fabulous performance. Strong voices, great song selection, great venue.
We expected to have a good time but they did better than that. The meet and greet was such a pleasure. They are polite, personable, and very human. The newest member, Steven, was a wonderful addition. His voice rang out whenever he sang. Wish he had been at the meet and greet too. I hope they all stay healthy and continue to be the great entertainers and personalities they were at this presentation.
We were on the 9th row. Il Divo opened a minute for questions and I asked them to hug my mom virtually! She went through cancer and treatment with their music all along. After the show, they all shaked their hands with her from the stage! We definitely lived a dream
Beautiful voices separately and as a group Such strong, powerful sounds that transported you to Italy being serenaded Thoroughly enjoyed the evening
Absolutely thrilled to see and hear the beautiful music and voices of Il Divo. On our bucket list. We’re disappointed in the acoustics of Old National Center. Did not do their voices justice. The bass on the speakers was either too loud or speakers need fixed as there was a nasty vibration that detracted from the show. We will think twice before paying for tickets at that venue again. We have other options in Chicago or Detroit or Cincinnati. But wanted to try Indy.
Thoroughly enjoyed the show. Enjoy more of the traditional repertoire. So sad to hear of Carlos’s passing. Steven is doing a good job of filling his shoes.
The concert was incredible and it was a pleasure not to have an intermission. I just wish that they had sung more songs in English. This is the third time we have seen them and we both love Stephen.
