About House of Blues Gospel Brunch
House of Blues Gospel Brunch Live
A high-spirited event that has become a treasured tradition in Las Vegas and nationwide, the House of Blues Gospel Brunch offers the best kind of nourishment for bodies and souls every Sunday. Visitors can enjoy traditional and contemporary songs by local gospel performers and national touring groups while digging into the House of Blues' signature all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet of Southern-inspired favorites.
This tradition of combining soul-stirring performances and great food began over two decades ago at the original House of Blues location in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The Gospel Brunch soon became a well-loved staple in Las Vegas when the House of Blues opened its seventh location with a 600-seat restaurant and 1,800-capacity music hall at the Mandalay Bay Resort Casino in 1999.
Along with the iconic fried chicken and waffles, the Gospel Brunch menu regularly features such items as prime rib, cornbread, grits, jambalaya and a style-your-own omelette station. Even more exciting than what's on your plate is what's onstage. A 90-minute nondenominational musical celebration, the House of Blues Gospel Brunch is an exuberant experience that the whole family can experience.
House of Blues Gospel Brunch Background
A Sunday morning celebration like no other, the House of Blues Gospel Brunch has been a world-famous tradition for over two decades. It's easy to see why it's such a treasured part of the history of the House of Blues, which grew out of founder Isaac Tigrett's dream to introduce the world to the music, art and food of the rural south. Tigrett opened the House of Blues' first location in a converted, historic house in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1992. The Gospel Brunch soon became part of the House of Blues' reliable menu of great food and entertainment.
In 1999, the Gospel Brunch tradition came to Las Vegas when House of Blues opened a 600-seat restaurant and 1,800-capacity music hall in Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Featuring a unique combination of all-you-can-eat buffet with Southern-inspired favorites and a family-friendly, nondenominational 90-minute show of contemporary and traditional songs performed by local gospel talents and national touring acts, the House of Blues Gospel Brunch became a favorite of visitors and locals.
In 2013, the House of Blues enlisted gospel superstar Kirk Franklin to reimagine the Gospel Brunch — with spectacular results. The House of Blues Gospel Brunch continues to be an unforgettable way to celebrate the day.

This was our third time attending the Gospel Brunch at the House of Blues. This time, we brought along four friends. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the music and the amazing food, of course. But we most appreciated the energy and love the outstanding performers brought to the room. This is the way to do church in Vegas!
Great music and band, though would have appreciated female voices, as well. The venue is great, though seating is a bit tight. Buffet food variety fine, quality alright -- could be significantly better. In general the experience was consistent with the price charged, so I suppose the entrance ticket would have to cost more to allow for higher standards.
Could have been better. Environment cold and food got cold quickly. Not accessible for seniors or disabilities. Too many stairs, performers just okay. Should be more than one. After three songs, it was time for another group. Food flavorful but since it was cold, not good. Bacon got harder and tasted like jerky.
Price is reasonable. Food was good but not great. Space was limited and it was difficult to move around and dance since the tables were very close together. The show itself was good. It’s a cool experience, but only as a one time thing.
I have been several times and I will go several more. Worth it at any price. The food is great and I really enjoyed the worship service. Thank you for providing this fabulous entertainment!
My husband was skeptical about the enjoyment payoff of attending a 10 am event in Vegas but I really wanted to check out the House of Blues Gospel Brunch. It was a blast, great singing & good food! I'm telling everyone that the brunch pastor must have been Kenan Thompson's inspiration for his role as host in SNL's "What's Up with That"skit. The buffet layout could use some tinkering to improve flow so food isn't cold before guests are able to make it through line.
Thanks for an uplifting, Gospel event. We totally enjoyed the experience.
Awesome!!the presence of God was there in the middle of the Sin City.
The food was amazing! The music was worship! We loved the voices ❤️
