    Hilarious

by XelaXela on 6/19/12Bank of America Theatre - Chicago

I bought tickets to see this due to my love of puppets and all things Henson. I knew that it would be geared for an adult audience. I wasn't expecting it to be as hilarious at it was. The puppeteers were legit comedians in addition to being master puppeteers. The moderator kept the improv moving in a fun and engaging way. I didn't expect to laugh as hard as I did. I loved it. I wished it had been longer...or I gotten tickets to two of the performances. I'd definitely go see this again. And I've already been recommending it to my family and friends.

    The Miscreant Puppets were hilarious!

by Heatherine on 6/19/12Bank of America Theatre - Chicago

Stuffed and Unstrung was so funny. Puppeteer Colleen was probably the funniest one. I love how the show lets you behind the scenes by watching the puppeteers. I tried to take one picture with my cell phone and was told I had to delete it, which was a little disappointing.

    90 minutes flew by

by Bethanys09 on 6/18/12Bank of America Theatre - Chicago

Stuffed and unstrung was amazing. This was a father's day gift, so the show was funny enough to go with parents and not too inappropriate to feel completely awkward. When the host of the show said they were going to do their last scene, my dad thought only 45 minutes had gone by when it had really been an hour and a half. The audience participation made it interactive and amazing to see what they could come up with in just seconds. Another great part was that twice throughout the show they reenacted skits that were created in 1956, 1960s - it was great to see what they were like when they first started. The puppeteers had soo many puppets on stage with them and incorporated a computer for an electronic puppet at one point - it was cool to see how things have changed.

Puppet Improv -- No Holds Barred

by heyandrew on 6/18/12Bank of America Theatre - Chicago

This was great fun. The improv performers are also puppeteers using Henson puppets and technology to present an improv comedy show. Many laughs.

    Funny Stuff

by Anonymous on 6/18/12Bank of America Theatre - Chicago

One of the funniest shows we've seen. Improv at its best; would see it again since the content is always fresh. You'll laugh and cry (from laughing).

Stuffed & Unstrung left me Rolling and Unstitched!

by Marthur1 on 6/18/12Bank of America Theatre - Chicago

This show was fantastic! I've never been a big fan of improv...the improvised songs on topics thrown out by the audience usually sound forced and lame, the sketches made up as they go along are either dull with an occasional funny moment, or a potentially funny moment sparked by one of the comedians is fumbled and not capitalized on by the other actors. BUT NOT THIS SHOW! The wit was razor sharp, the material was fresh and hysterical! Even when one of the puppeteers stumbled with adlibbing...they protrayed that stumble through the puppet which turned the otherwise awkward moment of stumbling into mad hilarity. Puppeteers Colleen Smith and Drew Massey were especially hysterical. I am in LOVE with Colleen! The array of voices and personalities in all of those wild puppets was amazing. If I had had tickets, I would have gone to this show the next day, and the day after! Because it would always be a different show. LOVED IT!

Henson Alternative Stuffed and Unstrung (Chicago)

by Marian101 on 6/18/12Bank of America Theatre - Chicago

The tickets were out of my price range and if I had not unexpectedly fallen into some money I would NEVER have seen this show. The show it's self was great. Very smart, very fluid and the skill level of the performers was out of this world. Very very clever and entertaining.

Wonderfully funny and completely different, this was such a group of talent individuals doing improv with puppets. Cannot imagine a better combination!

    Rather amusing

by ThisOneChick on 6/18/12Bank of America Theatre - Chicago

This production was really amusing, however, it would fair better in a comedy club or smaller setting. Given the price for a short hour and half show, I don't feel I got my money's worth.

    Fun and Laughs

by PowerUp on 6/18/12Bank of America Theatre - Chicago

Muppets meet Second City in the Second City. Great show. Lots of laughs. Cast is terriffic in making the best out of random suggestions from the audiance. We had a great time. Use of muppets rather than focusing on the actors helps you focus on the dialogue.

    Absolutely hysterical

This was a terrific show. I have always enjoyed improv, and not only was the iimprov highly enjoyable, the puppetry was fantastic. Many, many great belly laughs and my cheeks were sore from smiling so much! The audience participation made it even more fun.

    Great muppet improv

by bbfan1977 on 6/17/12Bank of America Theatre - Chicago

Enjoyed the stuffed and unstrung show. Like watching the filming of a Muppet Show episode, but with a few blue words tossed in. Still, they never seemed to swear just for the sake of swearing.

    Hiilariois

by Riya99 on 6/17/12Bank of America Theatre - Chicago

We went to see this on a whim, hadn't really heard much. I am so glad we did. I haven't laughed that hard in ages. It's I,prov, it's,puppets, it's just funny. We were chosen to,go up on stage and "assist", and the puppets reenacted a scene from our lives that was priceless. There is a ton of audience participation, and the host, Patric Brostow, is deadpan and spot on. Very recommended.

Funniest show I have ever seen!!

by JukieZthatsme on 6/17/12Bank of America Theatre - Chicago

Wow!! What an amazing show! It was a perfect combination between improv and classic Jim Henson. I especially liked the Muppet Show elements that they surprised us with. It was so funny that it made me cry! If you love Jim Henson, the Muppet Show, puppets, or dirty humor, you MUST see this show!!

    Stuffed and Unstrung

by TessaBoone on 6/16/12Bank of America Theatre - Chicago

Everyone grew up with them, but the fun doesn't have to stop in childhood. It's a puppet show for adults....that should say it all! These performers are trained at improv and being puppeteers. Their ability to take audience suggestions and make it up is unbelievable. All I did was laugh for the whole performance. The Henson's were geniuses. It's a must see!

    Muppets Unstrung well worth it!

by HpKal on 6/16/12Bank of America Theatre - Chicago

Not your typical Broadway show - think "Who's Line is it Anyway?" meets "Ave Q" meets the genius that are the Hensons. Mixed with a few nostalgic moments as the team recreate classic early televised muppet moments from the 60s - and modern day improv and camera tricks - its both a highly entertaining and educational evening. Full of audience suggestions and even audience participation on stage - we see how much of a skill being a muppeteer really is. Just learning how to work the various camera angles and the proximity you have to be to one another to achieve a basic effect on the screen is awe inspiring. And then to have to do it all while acting, dancing and improvising without a script is pure TALENT! You wont see the traditional muppets, but you'll see how magic gets created from a talented team of artists...
