About

Glee Live! In Concert! brings the magic of the acclaimed television show Glee to audiences across the country, with members of the cast performing its celebrated covers live. Initially conceived as a small promotional stretch in Hot Topics stores throughout the US to plug the series’ soundtrack in the fall of 2009, the 2010 North American tour played 10 shows to thousands of ticket buyers in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and Phoenix at the end of Glee’s first season, generating buzz and praise from fans and critics alike in the wake of the massive success of the show. After the conclusion of the show’s second season, the following 2011 tour sold nearly 500,000 tickets over 40 concerts in the US and UK. Some of the many talented performers that have graced the stage during Glee Live! include Dianna Agron as Quinn Fabray, Chris Colfer as Kurt Hummel, Kevin McHale as Artie Abrams, Lea Michele as Rachel Berry, Heather Morris as Brittany Pierce, Amber Riley as Mercedes Jones, Naya Rivera as Santana Lopez, Mark Salling as Noah "Puck" Puckerman, Harry Shum Jr. as Mike Chang, Jenna Ushkowitz as Tina Cohen-Chang, and the late Cory Monteith as Finn Hudson. Some of their most popular covers, including Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing,” Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way,” and Barbara Streisand’s “Happy Days Are Here Again/Get Happy,” are sure to captivate audiences of both Gleeks and non-Gleeks.

    Nosebleed section - still fun!

by TheRaisinGirl on 4/24/13Nassau Coliseum - Lond Island

Did I really never write a review for Glee Live? Wow. Let me just say, it was amazing. The whole experience was fantastic. Granted, our seats were really far away, but they were also really far back. Which meant we could see a good bit of the backstage area. Mark Salling and Chord Overstreet do pull-ups on the stage supports. Chris Colfer dances while he's waiting to go onstage. All in all, it was an incredible experience. I know the show has gone down hill in the last year but these are still some incredibly talented people, and I don't think anyone who's seen them perform live could doubt that.

    Great for anyone!

My dad took me to this last year. He absolutely hates covers of songs and ended up loving the show just as much as I did. The talent is absolutely amazing! I'd recommend it to anyone who wanted to hear a talented group of young people.

Glee The Music And Feeling Go On Forever

by Dumbrowsky on 2/15/12Staples Center and O2 - Los Angeles and London

Glee Live transports the audience to a somewhat magical alternate reality where The William McKinley Glee Clun aka The New Directions are on some sort of mystical tour. No, it is not Regionals or Nationals (for those familiar with the show) but the competition (The Warblers) do show up. The show was a concert version of the TV show with most (if not 99%) of the storyline cut but the lead-in and cross-overs to the musical numbers work. From the beginning with the New Age Classic Don't Stop Believing to the incredible finale Somebody to Love (Made famous by the first original Glee Music Video), the show is non-stop fun for Glee fans of all ages. I am not sure that if you are not a Gleek you would not enjoy it, but the show has enough fans to keep the non-stop energy flowing all night.

    Glee Live was simply AMAZING!

by ElenaTheGleek on 1/6/12Conseco Fieldhouse - Indianapolis

I went to see Glee Live this past summer (2011). I drove from Tennessee to Indiana to see this concert, and the long trip was completely worth it.. The concert was phenomenal. Glee Live '11 was my first official concert, and it couldn't have been any better, well, it could have been longer..but they did 25 songs, so that's just me being greedy! Anyways, I'd strongly recommend seeing it. I promise you won't regret seeing this spectacular performance! I'm definitely going to see it again this summer - 2012! (:
