    BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!

by StPaul2017 on 7/17/17U.S. Bank Stadium - Minneapolis

General Admission package was the way to go! Could sit practically anywhere and sit up close! We got several athlete autographs and interacted with them. The staff at the X Games were super helpful and kind. Cannot wait until next year!!!

    General Admission

by MSBROW on 7/17/17U.S. Bank Stadium - Minneapolis

The event was great. I just don't understand the difference in the price of general admission tickets. paying $60 got me nothing better than if I paid $20. Felt that was very misleading

    XGames #BucketList

by Anonymous on 7/17/17U.S. Bank Stadium - Minneapolis

The XGames were so amazing to see live instead of on TV and the stadium didn't have a bad seat in the house. I can't wait for next year!!!

Such an amazing event with hundreds of the best athletes in their disciplined areas. Friendly people throughout the stadium and just a great atmosphere. Will be coming back for X Games 2018!!!!!

    Could have been much better....

by brenderbabe on 7/17/17Mall of America East Lot - Bloomington

Information prior to the event was not easy to understand. Seating was very limited and not comfortable at all. Only 6 porta potties??? Really? And why were the concessions and porta potties so far away from the stands? Races were fun to watch - especially the main event!

    The entire event was insane.

by LexusThompson on 7/17/17U.S. Bank Stadium - Minneapolis

I literally got depressed as soon as this was all over. Best. Time. Ever.

Event great how it is run it is not

by Tfh1978 on 7/17/17U.S. Bank Stadium - Minneapolis

The event was great and a lot of fun. However how it was run was horrible. I believe the company that ran it was Monterrey security. They had 2 entrances for the whole event you waited in line for over an hour to get in. And get this you had to wait in line to get out too. The crowd management was handled very poorly. Once you got in the event was fun.

    Xgames HD Flat Track

by dikehT on 7/16/17Mall of America East Lot - Bloomington

Too much down time between races, seating and area to stand to watch the races was limited. There was only 6 portapotties for up to 2,500 people. Far too few based on the lines waiting to use them.

Awesome event would be better if they had grandstands on both sides. Was not enough seating

You could tell it was the last year here in Austin

by canaryrx8 on 6/13/16Circuit of The Americas - Austin

No big party downtown, no fanfare really whatsoever, weekend felt like people just going through the motions and ready to move on, between the weather and the general funk in the air this particular x-games was definitely forgettable.

    X Games 2016

by Anonymous on 6/9/16Circuit of The Americas - Austin

This was a great way to close out the contract with Austin. As a native of the Austin area, I hope we are considered again for next year! I was bummed that they had to cancel the Big Air events, but there's no way to predict the Texas weather. I'm glad the rain didn't stop any of the other events, even with all the delays. The layout was perfect, and I could tell that the organizers took the time to listen to the complaints from previous years. This year, the Street course was positioned in a location where many more people could see compared to last year. I would have liked for them to lower the course or to raise the audience because it was kind of difficult to see the entire course when standing to the side, but I still saw enough to be stoked on all the tricks! I can't wait to see what the future holds for the X Games!

    VIP ED OFF

by DoubleGG34343 on 6/8/16Circuit of The Americas - Austin

I spent about 750 for my son, 10 and my VIP tickets for Friday only. It was supposed to have special VIP seating but there was none. Oh they had a small gated area for the VIP that was right next to gen standing area. No cover so the heat was extreme and no seats. So basically I stood in the hot sun right next to people who paid 30 for the day. The AC cooled room with free snacks and beverages was a nice retreat and we ended up spending a lot of time in there because I could see no other benefit to the VIP passes. The night got cancelled due to rain so we got literally thrown out. They would not allow skate boards so we checked ours and when we got thrown out the skate boards were not there.... I had to make the 1:20 round trip drive to get his skate board the next day. AAARRRGGG

Spent $127 and all I got was cancelled events

by NotGoodAtALL2 on 6/8/16Circuit of The Americas - Austin

Total wast of my money. I understand that winds can shut down a big air event but how about a refund??

X Games was an awesome event

by caligirlinaustin on 6/8/16Circuit of The Americas - Austin

Even with the rain and windy weather forcing several events to be cancelled including the big air events which was one of the events we were really looking forward to, we still had an amazing time. The tribute to Dave Mirra was moving and the villages had a lot of fun interactive things to do. It was an overall great family event with energy and excitement.

This was mine and my family's first X Games and sadly last unless it returns to Texas. We had the best time. I was shocked at the amount of free activities and free merchandise that was available! There was plenty to do and eventhough we got rained out on Saturday they offered Saturday ticket holders to return on Sunday free of charge. I am truly saddened that this was the last year of the X Games in Austin and really feel like Austin is losing an amazing event that is fun for all ages.

Compared to last years event, this year was a bit of a let down. I can't fault ESPN for the events that were cancelled due to the weather, but the layout of the grounds was pretty poor this year, and overall there seemed to be less to do. Whether it was due to a scheduling conflict or other reasons, not having the rally cross and off road truck events was disappointing, and the motocross events were held in an area that wasn't as spectator friendly as last year. According to one of the event staffers, last year the planning of the event was a joint effort between COTA and ESPN, but this year ESPN took full control, which may or may not be a large factor in how things played out, outside of the weather of course.

    X Games were Ok.

by Anonymous on 6/7/16Circuit of The Americas - Austin

A lot of events were cancelled due to weather which was really unfortunate. This of course wasn't the fault of the games or of COTA, but I felt I spent money to see events that I could have seen for free at a local skate park and didn't get the opportunity to see the events that I truly wanted to. The COTA staff handled the weather situation poorly, evacuating everyone after the rain had passed and it was clearly sunny again. They told us that all events were cancelled for the remainder of the day and as soon as we exited they allowed everyone (thousands of people) to get in line and come back in. They didn't check tickets or bags the second time which made the line go quickly, but was somewhat unfair since anyone could have walked in. The concerts were also only OK. Overall, I was disappointed in the number of events that actually occurred and the way the weather situation was handled. Also, food and drinks were very overpriced, but this was expected. It was an expensive weekend for something that ended up not being worth it.

    Free Event X-games

by ZombieHunter512 on 6/7/16Circuit of The Americas - Austin

For a free event it was great, the parking was un-organized and had to pay for parking, but they bused everyone over to the area that the event was happening. They served beer, food, and merchandise for purchase. The event was fun enough, and was done before the rain hit. The announcers said that the audience could go to the pit area, but this ended up not being true. There was a lot of mis-communicated information as a gimmick, however it was decent because it was free. Cant complain much about being free .

    Last year

by Hello12 on 6/7/16Circuit of The Americas - Austin

It was just a terrible day for Saturday events because of the rain. The two events we were able to watch were awesome. Considering it was there last year. The three years were still good at Austin.
