    High expectations

by Xverydisapointed on 6/7/16Circuit of The Americas - Austin

Went last year, 2015, and had a blast so we went back this year and we were very disappointed. There were about half of the events from last year. No rally cars or motorcycle races and worst of all, to me, no CALL OF DUTY. The area was about half the size of last year. This is without mentioning the events that were canceled due to weather, nothing you can do about that. Overall, will never go back to the x-games.

    It rained

by BallSackBullocks on 6/7/16Circuit of The Americas - Austin

Payed for the whole day, but it did rain. Probably saw a total of one hour of action for 50 bucks.

    X Games! Good times

by Flower80 on 6/7/16Circuit of The Americas - Austin

Had a wonderful time. All of the vendors were great, very friendly. We were well informed while there on any delays or re-scheduling that took place because of weather. Was a wonderful experience.

Rained out and waiting for refund.

by angusyoung364 on 6/6/16Circuit of The Americas - Austin

Unfortunately, the June 3rd xgames big air final and concerts were rained out. Still waiting on my refund for the music portion, but I have a feeling I may not see this for a while to come. Over all not satisfied with the event or the communication with my refund.

Some events where good but very unorganized event

by JAG1994 on 6/6/16Circuit of The Americas - Austin

I know the weather didn't help, but the event itself was pretty unorganized compared to the other 2 events here in Austin. Cancelled shows and events really sucked but that's Texas weather for you.

X Games last time in Austin and it sucked!

by Atxsk8r on 6/6/16Circuit of The Americas - Austin

Last time X games in Austin and boy did it suck! I mean you can't control the bad weather but the overall event felt lame. Missing a lot of events from the past few years and limited booths. Just felt like they rushed something together just to have something and get the hell out of Texas. Overall i give it an F and wish i could have my weekend back.

Concert Rained Out, Scamming Pedicabbers, Prices

by JB15 on 6/6/16Circuit of The Americas - Austin

First off, I only attended in order to see Logic and G-Eazy. That didn't even happen, but it isn't the venue's fault. We had to evacuate due to lightning. BEFORE that, I repeatedly told pedicabbers that I did NOT need a ride, just directions on where to walk to the venue. They would not let up or tell me where to walk, which actually wasn't far from Lot F. They lied and drove me to the WRONG entrance, all for $20. Then, once I fot into the venue, vendors who I've supported at other festivals and events were charging four times what they normally do, just because they could. It was absurd. I ate so cheaply at ACL compared to this event.

    Overall an amazing experience!

by Masonnite on 6/6/16Circuit of The Americas - Austin

My friend and I had been wanting to go since we were seniors in high school, being the first year they were here. We weren't able to get it coordinated accordingly until this year. It was unfortunate that it was Austin's last go, but we were definitely going to go. We did Thursdat to Sunday, and planned 2 months in advance. The event itself was awesome, getting to see things go down in front of you was much different than through a tv screen. I was bummed however that they canceled Logic & G-Eazy Friday night due to inclement weather, as well as Skate and BMX Big Air for the event. We didn't get to see but a few runs of skate big air the whole weekend. But I was still very happy with the trip overall. The staff was nice and helpful, besides the weather being a factor, the experience for me was something I will never forget!

    Great start to the summer!

by AKOkay on 6/6/16Circuit of The Americas - Austin

I've watched the X Games since 2010 and oh my gosh. This event superseded my expectations by 1,000%. I was already so pumped when I bought our tickets but after experiencing it first hand, "so pumped" doesn't even begin to explain the feeling. Food and drinks were very expensive so I'd highly recommend bringing your own cooler and taking a lunch break to the parking lot. It was so cool though! They had massive coolers of water with multiple spouts that you could refill your own bottle with. The port-a-potty cleanliness was very exceptional too (surprisingly)! They refilled paper every day and provided hand sanitizer. Very, very pleased with the entire event! :D also, sunscreen is a must!

It was a great atmosphere. People were very nice! Got the cheqpest parking but still had shuttle busses come back and forth. We just hoped there would be more places to sit down with shade!

    Blink at x games

by Jpantoja23 on 6/6/16Circuit of The Americas - Austin

X games was a great event. it was my first time attending the event and I am impressed with it as a whole. The rain made everything a little difficult but the officials handled everything well. I was there mainly to see blink 182 but I did enjoy everything.

    Fun but short lived.

by Smyoung52 on 6/6/16Circuit of The Americas - Austin

The c games were awesome! All the events were exciting and well organized, the only down side is it began to rain so they cancelled the rest of the day, which included skateboard big air, and the g easy and logic concert. We were a little upset they cancelled it all together rather than a reschedule but in nice weather it'd be a 5 star time.

Xgames Sucks. But Blink-182 saved them.

by SterlingJ on 6/6/16Circuit of The Americas - Austin

First of all I paid for music, sports, and parking pass in the form of a "3 day pass." What I received in the mail for my friends and I was 18 TICKETS and three parking passes (each day). I was disappointed I didn't get a wristband, but I got over it. Then upon arrival I had to hand over my music tickets to be redeemed into a wristband for the concerts... Btw if I didn't redeem my wristband I would not be allowed entry into the concert venue. This year they made everything a lot closer together, so I was able to see all of the sports events I wanted to see, and actually very close too (I didn't buy VIP). About 30%-40% of the events got cancelled due to "lightning 8 miles away" , "severe winds" and "intense rain." I was pumped to see g-eazy and Logic on Friday, but unfortunately they evacuated everyone out and cancelled the shows. They said I would get an immediate refund for Friday concert, but I have not received one yet. I waited outside under a tent thinking they would let everyone back in for the concert. After 1.5 hours of waiting it was cancelled. As far as COTA goes, the venue sucks. There is no shade anywhere to be found. On Saturday we got hammered with heavy rain, basically cancelling most of the sporting events. They evacuated everyone into the grandstand buildings and to their cars. Once the rain stopped we were let out and then further evacuated outside of COTA and put back in line. After about 25 minutes of waiting in line we were let back in. At that point I just waited in line to see blink-182. All Time low opened for Blink-182, I am not a fan so I just sat down during the opening. But when Blink-182 came on it made up (mostly) for all of the nonsense that happened on Friday and Saturday. Food was ok, the only good restaurants were Torchy's Tacos and Mighty Cone, but I already eat there often on my own time. On Sunday, they moved all of Saturday's events to Sunday and let everyone with a Saturday ticket in on Sunday for free. So my three day pass should have been a two day pass with a 1/3 refund. But it wasn't, I received no refund. Sunday ended quickly with yet more event cancellations due to "wind", which I understand. But what pisses me off the most is that they gave a sub par last year to Austin. We basically deserve a FULL refund for putting up with all of the cancellations and evacuations. Blink-182 saved the weekend. I feel like Xgames is more of a corporate event than anything. It doesn't feel like action sport people run the Xgames. The sponsors were Harley Davidson, Fruit of the loom (wtf, right?), Intel, the Navy, and a few others. Basically none of those brands are action sport brands. They only held three sports this year, (Moto, BMX, and Skate.) So hopefully you understand why I rated this weekend two. The ONLY reason I had fun was because I was with my friends and we saw Blink-182. If those things weren't there I wouldn't even give a single star. I'm glad they are leaving Austin.

    Great time!

by Javinceben on 6/6/16Circuit of The Americas - Austin

It was a very fun time for me. It was very enjoyable to be able to walk around and see the athletes and get close to the events. The only bad thing about the weekend was the weather. The prices for food and drinks was kind of high but that's expected.

Great skateboarding but Not so VIP Experience

by SkateboardFan on 6/6/16Circuit of The Americas - Austin

The Men's skateboard park contest was awesome and the seats were good but could have had these for much less. The "VIP experience" was a waste of money. When we wanted shade and an escape, no one could direct us to one...except the one that was useless for viewing events. Information and security were all useless for help but sure as heck could tell us to get out of a shaded walkway. All we wanted were great seats, shade, and refreshments...its why we paid so much for this. We didn't feel like VIP's. Worse yet we found out there was another level of VIP. So when we tried to enter a shaded spot we were turned away. Ridiculous. Hey, here is another crazy idea. Update the dang mobile app with updated event times. The app was a waste of time. No map for VIP areas, no updated event times...useless.

Sad, rainy weekend but Blink was awesome

by Anonymous on 6/6/16Circuit of The Americas - Austin

Unfortunately this was a bad experience for the most part, many of the events were cancelled due to weather conditions, we had to wait several hours in the vehicle to ride out the rain then only to find out the rest of the events for the night were cancelled, Blink-182 put on a great show I will say that, but I didn't even see the events I really wanted to see because they were cancelled...

    3rd year, worst year

by Atxhomie on 6/6/16Circuit of The Americas - Austin

No rallies, no big air, no more than 2 concerts, half the circuit was not in use, things getting cancelled left and right, dead hype, bad ticket handling.
