DR. SEUSS' HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS! THE MUSICAL is the record-setting Broadway holiday sensation which features the hit songs "You're A Mean One Mr. Grinch" and "Welcome Christmas" from the original animated special. Max the Dog narrates as the mean and scheming Grinch, whose heart is "two sizes too small," decides to steal Christmas away from the Holiday loving Whos. Magnificent sets and costumes inspired by Dr. Seuss' original illustrations help transport audiences to the whimsical world of Whoville and helps remind us of the true meaning of the holiday season. Don't miss what The New York Times calls "AN EXTRAORDINARY PERFORMANCE! 100 times better than any bedtime story."
Amazing show and very kid friendly! The talent did an awesome job at keeping everyone very engaged & interested.
Was seriously disappointed with the production and costumes. Even saw a person in front of me texting someone how awful it was. If it wasn’t for the little girl playing Cindy Lou I would have said it was a total waste of money. The costumes were not good at all - especially the Grinch! Just expected a lot more. Reminded me of a high school performance, but even some of them have been better.
Excellent theater and musical. The children really enjoyed.
The musical was an unexpected delight! Every aspect was magnificent - from the splendid costumes to the outstanding music and choreography. It all came together so seamlessly that the true spirit of Christmas utterly swept me away. The experience was nothing short of magical and thoroughly enjoyable!
Unfortunately this show was a disappointment. The sets were beautifully designed and quite impressive, and the costumes were spot on, but the story and the music didn't measure up. The vocals were fine, it was just that the songs were forgettable immediately after hearing. In fact the only song I can remember is the Grinch theme (you're a mean one) from the original show, which is the only one that was carried over. They could've done much better; I was glad when it was over.
Excellent we recommend it highly. Our 9year old loved it. Actors were very professional and excellent set design
The play was very good. Beautiful theatre. Staff very helpful and friendly. Ticketmaster makes the ticket process simple.
A group of 6 girlfriends came to see The Grinch and enjoyed every single bit of it! Beautiful theater, fabulous costumes and sets, wonderful performance! We will definitely be back!
Perfect length, fantastic cast, very enjoyable. Highly recommend!
Cindy Lou was fantastic! The sets and wardrobe for the Who's were spot on. The Grinch left a lot to be desired
Fun show especially for younger children (12yrs and younger)
Was very Entertaining. Puts you in the Christmas spirit.
I took my 7 year old granddaughter. She was entranced. Her eyes were riveted to the stage!
Loved the musical, costumes, acting, scenery all of it The Grinch could have been a brighter green. He was a bit dull colored in
Everything was great and geared for a real Family experience. Everyone in my party had an awesome time and enjoyed the show.
This show is for young children, at best. Definitely not for adults expecting Chicago Theater quality, as we paid Chicago Theater prices. Mediocre set and cast. Passing gas humor. Screeching Who voices. It was a lot.
Production itself was fine and glad we saw it to know we don’t need to see it again. Story was cheesy for a 9 and 13 year old. I think younger kids might appreciate it more.
We really enjoyed this play and would definitely comeback next year if it's playing.
What a colorful, magical evening at the theater! I especially loved the Grinch!
The play was very nice. Occasionally, I couldn’t clearly hear some of the characters but overall, it was really good. I liked that it was about an hour and a half with no intermission.
