the show was phenomenal. Non-stop laughs and a couple of surprises. The venue was pretty clean and easy to get to/from. My only real issue were the folding chairs the used. They felt unstable and loose, which worried me every time I shifted.
Venues should be independent, not corporate. The foldable chairs were uncomfortable. The neon artwork behind the bar feels intentionally uncool, as do the unnecessary 4 giant chandeliers above the audience. The new Fillmore in downtown Minneapolis feels like it was interior-designed by a bunch of old, out-of-touch men who live in luxury condos and think they’re hip. Also, no re-entry? Cmon. Let there be re-entry between doors and showtime. We have wristbands, can’t that work as an identifier to gain re-entry? The one great thing that happened was we were approached by a staff member and upgraded to VIP seating, which was nice.
Doughboys are always an amazing time! And it is extra fun to be around Boston which is where one of the hosts is from. Love the boys!
it happened. it was incredible. people made other people laugh. i wanted an encore, but it is a podcast.
This show was so silly and exactly what I wanted from the LIVE DOUGHBOYS experience!
Very funny show, the boys were so nice and hung out afterwards to answer questions. Will definitely go again when they come back.
It was as funny as I was hooping! Both Nick and Mitch were highly entertaining!
The review of De’Angelos was spot on, and the delivery was completely on point. Laughed the entire show. Thanks, guys!
The Doughboys and their guests were awesome: funny, engaging, and kept the audience involved for the entire two hour show. It was such a good experience, even for my husband who only listens to the podcast sporadically. The venue was...strange. From the seating chart on Ticketmaster, it looked like a traditional theater setup. Arriving, we realized the venue was a series of high- and low-top tables and function chairs throughout the space. Honestly, we wouldn't have minded this set up if we knew about it in advance. I would have chosen different seats or a different location within the theater.
