    Dora the Dissapointment

by OneCoolDad79 on 6/6/14St. George Theatre - Staten Island

This show was of the quality of a junior high musical. Minimal, low-budget set... character barely resembled Dora... Lame pirate ship... I drove 2+ hours each way to take my daughter to this. To be fair, it was almost worth the low price of tickets. However, I would rather have paid 3x the amount to see an amazing show. I suppose if you lived down the street and had nothing else to do, then go ahead and swing in... but I would not get my kid excited and make a big production out of it.

    Low budget Dora

by Mimi2949 on 5/1/14St. George Theatre - Staten Island

Kids seemed to enjoy it. The music was nice my six year ild loved it, even my 8 mths old was rocking to the songs . However; the costumes looked home made and the acting was terrible. I've seen better high school musicals. Not what I expected, disappointment .

Costumes were horrible and actors didn't look like they were into acting except for Dora

    Dora's Pirate Adventure great!

by Lphb on 4/30/14St. George Theatre - Staten Island

The show was a great adventure for kids. It featured all the Dora characters who were on a quest for the treasure chest that held the secret to the best party ever. Great performance, very engaging. The kids loved it.

    too short

by staten22 on 4/30/14St. George Theatre - Staten Island

The show was only one hour long!! it could have been at least one and a half hours....Dora could have been in a real DORA costume for such a short time...my three and half year old daughter was looking, looking for dora and was kind of disappointed not to see her.

    Cute show for toddlers!

by mamabearandcubs on 4/30/14St. George Theatre - Staten Island

This show was perfect for my 2 year old. It was about an hour long which was a good length of time. The costumes were good for the kind of production it was. Although I thought they would be more like full costumes (like a full character costume). All in all, we had a good time.

    Horrible Theatre!

by Juelz01 on 4/30/14St. George Theatre - Staten Island

We tried to enjoy the show in all honestly because my 2 year old loves dora, but it was just a horrible place to have a kid show. We were sitting in the second level and could not hear a thing from the stage. The characters of the show should have worn the actual costumes instead of being real people so maybe the kids can be more into the show. Seemed like alot of kids were bored and couldnt sit still. Dont recommend place or show!

Poorly designed, terrible props and they didn't even announce the intermission. The curtains just closed. Poorly conducted. It is not recommended to have an intermission with a bunch of fidgety toddlers.
