We took our 5 grandkids to Disney on ice! They had a blast!
Do not attend this event if you want to see Disney Magic. The show is uninspiring with mediocre skating and wrote choreography. The arena was more than 1/2 empty and many kids left before it was over. This was made worse by the sad venue which was dark and dirty. The concessions were a throwback to the 1970's with bagged popcorn, not fresh and only one food stand. Perhaps this is the best you can get when its a licensed event and not truly Disney but I imagine if Mr. Iger (Disney's CEO) attended he would shut it down.
Mediocre at Best...not a true disney production it was really heavy on toy story, and wish the focus was on some of the other stories like "Cars"
The show was awsome for the kids. The reason why I'm giving it a 3 start is the seating arrangements they did a horrible job , gave us the wrong seats. We bought 4 tickets so we had 4 seats , another person came and sat on our 4th seat saying they told her to sit there, we payed for 4 we should use our 4 it was just ridiculous and very uncomfortable. Very unprofessional
The show was excellent. The kids had a great time!
it was really a nice show and my 1 and half years old daughter love it specially Toy Story
My nephew and I had a great time! The music was great. So sweet and reminded me of my childhood.
I thought the venue was very old, the show was very boring, and would not waste another $60.00 on a Ice skating ticket again.
This Disney on Ice was Great! I thought it was wonderful and my grandchildren thought so too. Will be bring them again to another Disney on Ice.
I had a good view. The show was over all Fun I enjoyed with my daughter.
A good show. The flow kept my daughter entertained. There were no lapses in excitement. My daughter enjoyed it from beginning to end. I felt a little sorry for the performers as the conditions for the ice were not ideal inside the L.A. Sports Arena. The ice was covered in about an half an inch of water by the time the show started. There was a 10-15 delay starting the show to try and resurface the ice, but tgat didn't help.
First time going, it was great and the kids loved it.
Not just for kids. Theses tickets were purchased for my mom who lets just say is over the hill now. She has a cute obsession with tinker bell, so I thought it would be a perfect gift to take the family. Little did my brother(16) and I(21) expect to have been just as excited as she was after the show. I'd say if you love Disney specifically Cars, Ariel, Tinker Bell, or Toy Story you'd love the show. Absolutely no one under the age of 16 was with us and we all loved it.
Really enjoyed the show would definately recommend to familes, my 4 year old daughter was amazed and enjoyed every minute of it
Action filled performances, interactive, and excellent props
met all expectations; every bit was enjoyable and fun
We enjoyed the Cars and Tinkerbell parts of the show but when it got to the second half with Toy Story, it was way too long and unsuitable for young children. My almost 5 year old was really restless during a very loooooong section with Ken and Barbie trying on clothes. Not to mention he "didn't get it" since the theme was more suited for adult humor. I looked around and noticed that most of the children there were 3-7 in age and they had also lost interest. There weren't as many scenes with the main characters of Mickey, Minnie, etc which was disappointing. We usually really enjoy Disney on Ice, but this one needs some work.
Exellent performance. Alot of people came in late and were just standing there blocking our view, they didnt care. We missed about the first 15 mins of the show due to constant people walking.
The seats & the show was great. My son really enjoyed himself. I would definitely do this again.
Last year we went to see the December showing which was more getting every character on ice and playing song. This year we went to the March showing which was four stories or Tinkerbell, Cars, Toy Story 3 and The Little Mermaid. The cars were incredibly impressive, but not as fun as watching people skate! Toy story was by far the best with an amazing set, and having to account for proportions of toy size vs. people size. So clever. My daughter and I loved it so much and sang along to The Little Mermaid. Tinkerbell got a little boring and didn't make a whole lot of sense, but it was still entertaining. Highly recommended. I love Disney on Ice!
