Country singer-songwriter Dierks Bentley has made a fast and furious charge to the head of the pack, landing ten singles atop the country charts in as many years. Bentley has become a favorite among fans with his friendly baritone voice and his no-frills songs about life's simpler pleasures, but it's his electric live performances that really put him at the top of the heap. Back out on the road for the RISER Tour Bentley will cover all the proper terrain, treating fans to everything from old favorites like "What Was I Thinkin'" to newer hits like "I Hold On."
At age 19, Dierks Bentley drove with his father from his birthplace Phoenix to his future home of Nashville. Settling in there, he worked researching archival footage of country music performances for Spike TV while honing his songwriting skills on the side. In 2003 he signed with Capitol Records Nashville, releasing his self-titled major label debut that same year to a No. 4 spot on the Top Country Albums chart. His next three albums would all peak at No. 1, establishing him as one of the genre's most formidable young acts and setting the stage for a career that since earned him more than ten Grammy nominations. In 2014 he released his eighth studio album RISER, once again topping the country charts before hitting the road for a highly anticipated tour.
