DIANA ROSS IN CONCERT:
As Billboard's "Female Entertainer of the Century," Diana Ross holds an unrivaled place among R&B's rich history of legendary divas. From her time leading the Supremes to her extraordinary solo career, Ross's supple voice, striking looks, and effortless style have made her a timeless icon, as charismatic today as she was in the '60s. Featuring her greatest hits, Motown-inspired backup singers, and all the costume changes you'd expect from a diva's diva, Ross's 2013 shows stunned, setting expectations sky high for her 2014 tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born and raised in Detroit, Ross rose to international superstardom in the '60s as leader of the Supremes, the group that became Motown Records' golden goose with an unprecedented ten No. 1 hits between the years 1964-1967. After fulfilling her contract with the group, Ross released her self-titled solo debut in 1970, earning her first Grammy nomination with soul classic "Ain't No Mountain High Enough." Following the success of her first solo TV special Diana!, Ross once again topped the charts with 1973's "Touch Me in the Morning," going on to release a hugely successful duet album with Marvin Gaye later that year. In addition to her chart success, Ross established herself as a skilled actor with acclaimed appearances in classic '70s films including Mahogany and The Wiz. Over a career that spans more than half a century, Ross has released 27 Top 40 singles, earning a Guinness World Record as the most successful female artist of all time.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"Diana is still the beautiful diva she's always been and stuns in her many sparkling costumes, singing all of the many, many favorites that have made her loved by so many."
"Her voice was wonderful. She was so professional and knew how to work a crowd. Great selection of songs. And her costume changes were fantastic."
"Still a Diva, glamorous, elegant, classy... It was a wonderful show. The crowd in New Orleans adored her, were on their feet almost the entire time, singing along and dancing to her hits -- all well-delivered."
My girlfriends and I were excited to see Ms. Ross and had a great time! The Boss did not disappoint! The night was perfect!
Show was fine but not as good as Smokey Robinson the nite before- she did not have the big screens on each side of the stage that Smokey’s show had. Makes a big difference if you are not in the 1st 10 rows on the floor. Both Motown legends are still on their game.
She was beautiful and her voice was still magical. At 79 she’s definitely a legend of beauty and grace
Excellent show was able to sing the song with her . Would definitely go again
I was so happy to see her perform, she still GOT IT and never LOST IT! Love her energy and her voice is absolutely beautiful. I loved every minute of it. Such a big FAN! Her band and backup singers are fantastic great voices to accompany The Legendary Ms. Ross! Worth a drip from DC to Atlantic City to see her since I missed her when she performed in DC. I would see her again next year to celebrate her 80th Bday!!!! Lover her! #DianaRossForever
She looks sounds and performs like a true queen and star we will always love Diana
Refreshing that her songs from the past and those from her new album promotes friendship and take of your neighbor. Back to old school normal behavior and let’s all be a community not like the lyrics of many songs today that demean others and today that rely on separatism and not inclusion of all people.. Thank you Diana for all the years of joy listening to your music!
Great show, but sides monitors should have bee on.
Great concert,Diana Ross still doing a great job at 79 yrs. Her backup singers are also very good.Etess Center did a great job seating everyone.
From performing early Supremes #1 hits to the recent Thank You album, Diana pounded out all the biggest hits of her career with a phenominal band, stellar back up singers, and her own wonderful voice. Though she is nearly 80 years young, she maneuvered the stage in style commanding the whole show from start to finish. She even did some awesome covers of "Why Do Fools Fall in Love"and "More Today Than Yesterday", and "I Will Survive."...the last 2 I don't think I ever heard her sing. She was super cordial to the audience and thanked us endlessly. My favorite was "The Boss"and "Love Hangover"....and a rousing rendition of "Ain't No Mountain High Enough". So. Glad I had the opportunity to see this fabulous performance!
Diana never disappoints! This is my second time seeing her this year, same venue! She puts the F in fabulous, the S in sexy, and the G in glamorous! She still sounds amazing! I will come see her every time

Diana Ross gave a sparkling, fabulous performance. The nonstop singing shows that her voice is as strong and marvelous as ever! The gorgeous gowns shows her exquisite taste. She gave the audience almost all of the songs they wanted to hear. Her communication and interaction with the audience brought people to their feet. Her final song, “Thank You” brought tears to many eyes. Diana Ross is a true ENTERTAINER! Reaching all ages, races and again proves that love is THE BOSS!

Based on her age, I was expecting a decent concert. but nothing stellar. Totally glamorous and beautiful and and still has every bit of her voice. Excellent concert would recommend to anybody who's a diana ross fan
They say there is no fountain of youth. Well, I’ll tell you, Ms Ross is not only timeless herself but she takes her fans back in time to when we were all young. Her voice is truly a gift from above. Her mere presence is something to behold. At almost 80 she still commands a room with her beauty, elegance and abundance of love for her fans. I’m a thrilled that on my 60th birthday I was able to spend it with Diana Ross while she gave us some if her greatest hits from her vast catalog. Her new songs were great too. Diana Ross is a must see. Motown produced some of the great entertainers of our modern times. If you need to believe that we can all live long, long happy lives. I say, go see Diana. She has surly found the fountain of youth. She is touched from the heavens above to bring us joy.
