Demo Derby Tickets

I've seen better derbies at many county fairs. The arena was very small, not to mention the extra costs to get in. The site doesn't say you're going to have to pay also for an admittance to the fair, even you're only going to the derby.

We were excited to go to the derby since my son had asked for tickets for christmas and we’d never been. We arrived 20 min before the start since I didn’t know about seating. There was a delay due to some of the cars still being in traffic. I found this irritating that they were cutting it so close they were stuck in traffic and late. 40 min after start time they do a whole pleat of allegiance and national anthem and announcements which I think could have been done during our wait time- they then allowed a lot of time for kids to do their little power wheels derby before the real one started- we are now over an hour past the original start time in 90 degree weather. The drivers still were not immediately responsive when asked to approach the track and had to be requested three times. It was semi entertaining but ultimately too ouch of await in very hot weather.

The Derby Saturday evening 03/05/22 was absolutely awesome as usual

There is a lot that goes on behind “the derby” but the show wise, it should be started earlier so it don’t run into later hours of the night. That’s more for the drivers and kids. Driver wise so they don’t have to be up all night fixing there cars, it’s exhausting to be up all day there and have to work on your car all night, Kid wise, we all know kids at 10-12 pm are gonna be tired and we are there to put a show on for the kids. I seen before the main show over 50% of the people left because of how late it was. I also think the front wheel drive stock cars should have been in the main show.

Stormont-Vail Event Center could have done a much better job mitigating the fumes and exhaust out of the arena. At times it was impossible to see the opposite end of the arena. Blizzard Bash was handled much better regarding air quality.

It held my attention, it was fun. I will be going to the next one.

I bought 4 tickets just to find out that if i would have bought them at the venue they would have been less than half the price.

I realize Internet service is not the best but checking in using our phones was a joke at times. We finally got a pit pass, which helped but the first two times we were not able to access the tickets on our phones. Otherwise, a very enjoyable experience.

Great show! Very loud and smokey. And we loved every minute of it!!!

The event itself was great, but the event center could use some help. The first night they had sold reserved seating, but didn’t put any signs on the seats that were reserved. And it’s obvious that they are not used to a sell out crowd. We had close to an Hour long wait for food and beverages, and the lines for security were out of control.
