About

Counting Crows are a Grammy and Academy Award-nominated rock band that have sold over 20 million albums worldwide. Behind popular singles “Mr. Jones” and “Round Here,” Counting Crows’ debut album August and Everything After (1993) sold 7 million copies and peaked at No. 4 on Billboard 200. The sorrowful, roots-driven vocals of singer Adam Duritz transcended the alt-rock charts with 1996’s Recovering the Satellites. Fueled by the success of “A Long December,” Recovering the Satellites reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200, cementing the Counting Crows as one of thegreatest adult alternative artists of all time.

    Sorta' Good

by TC-Keys on 9/11/23The Venue at Thunder Valley Casino Resort - Lincoln

The Venue (name of the venue) is great! Having to walk through a smoke-filled casino to get there is gross, and it's by their design, they could easily let you enter the venue by the main entrance that you have to pass by, but no, they want you to go and exit through the casino. The band was great; however, Adam Duritz was so-so the first half of the show, I think he was wasted and had to sober up, after that he and the band sounded very good. Dashboard Confessional was, well, meh.

    Save your money

by Spanky on 9/11/23The Venue at Thunder Valley Casino Resort - Lincoln

I am a huge counting crows fan and they will always be one of my favorite bands ever. It was cool to see them live but to be honest every song was song in a different Arrangement and no one was able to sing along with the words.. so it was only mediocre. but I'm happy to still listen to their album from start to finish and enjoy the music as I Always have. I just would not spend money to see them live again and.. I'm not cheap

    Counting Crows still got it!!

by Matt W on 9/10/23YouTube Theater - Inglewood

What a great show! If you’re ever thinking about seeing one of your favorite bands from your adolescence I can’t recommend it highly enough! Counting Crows sounded just like they did in the early 2000s and it was a beautiful experience.

Adam Duritz is a musical genius

by Live Music Fan on 9/9/23YouTube Theater - Inglewood

I’ve enjoyed the counting crows since I was in high school. It’s been a while since I’ve seen them so I wasn’t sure what to expect from Adam 25 or so years later. The man still can sing, and he does so with every cell in his body, telling a story for the crowd as if playing his songs for the first time. The band sounds amazing, and their connection with each other captivates the audience. I dig this band so much, and I hope they continue to tour regularly. -Jill W.

    Legendary Experience

by crancrows on 9/9/23YouTube Theater - Inglewood

I have seen Counting Crows just about every time they've come to town. The YOUTUBE theater showcased the band the way they should always be showcased. Excellent sound, seating, venue, amenities. These are the type of venues Counting Crows needs to play at. Unlike the Orange County Fair, which butchered their sound. This show was Coachella headliner status. Excellent vocals and performance, lighting and sound.

    Shorter than should

by indy show on 9/9/23TCU Amphitheater at White River State Park - Indianapolis

They only played for maybe 1 hr 45 minutes. Dashboard was on for > 1 hour. It seems that to pack in almost daily shows these are shorter. For the big bucks we’re paying CC should give at least two hours

So Sad didn't get to go

by KJ on 9/8/23Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort - Las Vegas

I am so sad that I had a family emergency and didn't get to see this band. i have been following them and loving their music and makes me cry to think they were here and I missed it. I pray they continue to tour so I can make it. Their music has gotten me through live events and I will turn to their music to get me through this life event. I am sure they were fabulous. Till next time keep the music coming !

    Robbed

by Mat on 9/5/23Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort - Las Vegas

I was really looking forward to this show but it really fell short for me. I was looking forward to reliving my late teens and 20’s, listening to and singing along with the music I grew up with. But it was really hard to sing along with the way he sung the songs. he played too much with the cadence of the lyrics…Almost like spoken word poetry rather then singing. This wasn’t because he couldn’t sing, he’s definitely still got it. He even made new acoustic arrangements to some songs (which were not my taste) and he sang these more fully. But in general throughout the show I got the feeling he is just so bored of singing the same songs for decades that he needed to bring a different artistic take to it. For a lot of people, that’s the variety they look for when going to a live show. But for me, the flow was gone and the magic was stripped away. Instead of feeling nostalgic I felt disappointed and robbed of the experience I was looking for.

    Disappointed

by JC on 9/5/23Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort - Las Vegas

We thought we were coming to see counting crows. Not enough of them. By the time they came on I was already over the concert.

    Spoken word killed it

by 3 girls on 9/5/23Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort - Las Vegas

First band changed the vibe very quickly to negative. Then the spoken word songs killed the nostalgia of coming to a counting crows show. Couldn't sing along to very many songs. Total bummer.

    Always amazing!

by CC on 9/5/23Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort - Las Vegas

I’ve seen them several times and they always give a great show. The venues are intimate and their performance is tight. Adam has great rapport with the audience. The band graciously preforms their hits while introducing new songs. Opener Frank Turner was a great warmup.
