Slow moving. Not as entertaining as expected. Ok for night out, but I would not recommend to others.

    Conned - something new

by MrsFields on 1/27/13The City Theatre - Detroit

This show was original, different and is highly recommended. We saw the best card cheat in the world one moment, the best mind reader the next and then someone eat a light bulb - all in one show!

Intriguing! Conned was a great show

by BamboozledN6thRow on 1/23/13The City Theatre - Detroit

While informative and an excellent reminder of just how vulnerable we all are to being duped and ripped off, the real value of the show was just how entertaining and mind boggling the tricks are. There's quite a bit that I can't fathom just how they pulled it off. In the case of Bob Arno, the "fingersmith," I mean that literally. And I just can't wrap my brain around how Richard Turner, legally blind, can handle cards so adeptly that I couldn't detect any one of his sleights, even with the close-up over a high res monitor. Todd Robbins was charming, funny, and thought provoking. Banachek was amazing. SEE THIS SHOW!

    Conned was great fun!

by Terry918 on 1/21/13The City Theatre - Detroit

Entertaining on many levels... these guys are very good at what they do and share their tricks freely with the audience. It was a little scary, given how easy it is to be "conned" - it was good to see their techniques.

    excellent family show

by ertaiwizard1 on 1/21/13The City Theatre - Detroit

From the blind card shark to the amazing pick pocket. This show has everything. The man who could eat light bulbs to the man who can bend metal. This show is a must for the whole family. Informative and funny, if you travel for a living you may want to see this show just to keep the pick pockets away.

    Very Entertaining

by scoot5743 on 1/21/13The City Theatre - Detroit

I took my wife and 2 boys age 13 and 11 and really wasn't sure what to expect. From the time they started until the time they ended I was truly amazed on how easy it was for them to con people, or steal from people. It put things into prospective, because I am really trusting of all people and this makes make me think otherwise. I really felt that this was a well done Las Vegas type of show. The main difference is that it was over 2 hours and each trick they did was very cool. I would highly recommend it, as I felt that the entertainment was well worth the price I paid. Also there are no bad seats in that theater.
