by ambicachi on 7/24/12Brighton Music Hall - BostonSo, as we already knew, Electric Youth has awesome synths, but the lead singer seriously needs to write better lyrics. After the lyrics "Why can we all just get along?" And "You (you you) are the best things that's ever happened to me", I just tried to zone out on the rad synths, which only sort of worked. Then, Anoraak brought their A-game, despite the Allston scene that doesn't dance (seriously!!), and they rock the entire set. They're live show is so much more fast paced and shreddy than i expected. So great. Afterwards, College played a great set with the best visuals I have ever seen. Good show, but Allston, learn to dance! You could tell the bands were underwhelmed with the audience's energy.

Electric Youth, Anoraak and College were insanely good. Each one could have been the headliner, and all for only $20? Highly, highly recommended!!!
