clean comedy experience keeps you laughing!!!

by joestice on 3/30/16Center Theater - Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center - Long Beach

My family was a little skeptical because of the title, but once the hostess came on stage they loosened up a little. The first comedian made them lose thier reservations. And as for my son, the comedians kept picking on him because he was mister cool breeze in the front row. We didn't know they had cameras on us. They had us dying. This is a great show to take your kids to prove that you don't have to curse to be funny or get your point across.

    It was alright.

by Nayola on 3/15/16Center Theater - Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center - Long Beach

This was a very nice venue, and I appreciate the fact that the comedy was clean. But, to be honest, it was just alright. There was too much time spent playing music. And out of the six comedians, I only thought that one was really funny, two were alright, and the other three I could have done without, especially the last guy who went on and on and on with his singing impersonations. I wanted to leave after intermission and I stayed because my husband wanted to. Yeah, we should have left after intermission. I won't be at their next event.

clean comedy show was really good!

by skybakes on 3/13/12Gilda's Laughfest - Grand Rapids

we were impressed at how funny this comedy was! It was labeled clean and really not much that felt offensive to us. Most of the crowd was 40+ in age and we were glad to be able to laugh at internet passwords and how lame our zoo might appear to visitors to the city.

    LAUGHFEST A LAUGHFEST

by ok34me on 3/12/12Gilda's Laughfest - Grand Rapids

Took 6 people, everyone enjoyed the comedy, and had a wonderful time. We will do it every year from now on! Although seating numbers were on the ticket there were no reserved seats and the tables were first come first serve. This was a bit unnerving since we go there "on time" thinking we had reserved seats.

    Clean Comedy Showcase

by jojothedogfacegirl on 3/12/12Gilda's Laughfest - Grand Rapids

This was just okay-I'm glad it didn't cost more than it did. With parking and a 2 drink minimum, plus $50 for tickets, it was an expensive evening for us. The first comedian did use some swear words and there were a few references to sex throughout the set, so I'm not sure whose standard of "clean" this is. We enjoyed the experience, but if you don't drink or go to clubs, you may feel out of place, as we did.

    Laughed for 90 minutes straight

by PowPowPow on 3/11/12Gilda's Laughfest - Grand Rapids

If it had not been for the two minutes between comedians, we would never have stopped laughing. The four comedians were all hilarious. You could tell they sometimes "held back" to maintain the Clean Comedy character, and it was appreciated. All four were polished and personable, finding humor in things with which adults can all identify (including grammar). Not humor for kids, but I'd recommend it for any adults.

    Great fun for all

by Dewelguy on 3/11/12Gilda's Laughfest - Grand Rapids

We took our company down for the dinner show. I was not familiar with any of the comics, but enjoyed them all. They had noted that none were not real knowledgable of Grand Rpids, but Rocky made a number of real great observations. His critique of our zoo was hilariuos. The show was wonderful. If an area may be improved upon was seating. I had inquired about reserved seating and instructed it was general admission, but upon entering a number of tables had been reserved. Who and How?

It was funny, I really enjoy the cleanness of the comedy, got get away from so many black jokes, and sexual jokes, next time around try to balance it out on the culture jokes you have visitors from all nationalities.
