Cedric The Entertainer on Tour

It's easy to see how Cedric Antonio Kyles, famously known as Cedric The Entertainer, earned his name over the last several decades. The American actor, comedian, producer, and TV show host has spent decades delivering laughs on stages big and small. Cedric is best known for his side-splitting standup material while touring as one of the Original Kings of Comedy, a series Spike Lee later compiled into a film for America to enjoy in 2000. The powerhouse comedian is also loved for co-starring on "The Steve Harvey Show" -- a role that won an NAACP award for Best Supporting Actor. You might also know him as the lead character, Eddie Walker, in Barbershop, or as the host of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" from 2013-'14. Cedric's other projects include five seasons on the CBS sitcom "The Neighborhood," the show "Johnson" on Bounce TV, and his own HBO comedy special. Now, you can see Cedric The Entertainer live on tour as he goes back to his roots, performing hilarious standup comedy across the country.

Cedric The Entertainer Live

This happily married father of three was born on April 24, 1964, in Jefferson City, Missouri. His keen sense of style and uncanny ability to rock a hat with every ensemble started in high school when Cedric developed a severe rash on his head -- something he has said he is no longer embarrassed by but instead proud of. After receiving a degree from Southeastern Missouri State and bouncing between jobs, he decided to pursue comedy full-time in Los Angeles, where he now lives with his family. There, he'd become a major player in the 1990s Era of Hip Hop Comedy, helping to transform what initially began as an experiment into an unforgettable experience as Black comics got their voice on stage. While still an emerging talent, Cedric hosted BET's "ComicView" in 1993-'94 and "Def Comedy Jam" in 1995 before co-starring on the WB sitcom and appearing in the Spike Lee documentary. Cedric expanded his acting career while pursuing comedy and landed in films such as Big Momma's House, Get Smart, Be Cool, and Code Name: The Cleaner. The Entertainer lent his comedic voice to characters in Ice Age, Madagascar series, and Charlotte's Web. A true, all-around performer and a cultural icon, he's appeared on Broadway, in two multi-platinum albums, as the lead comedian at the White House Correspondents Dinner, and was even featured as a character in a video game. You won't want to miss your chance to see Cedric The Entertainer live on tour.

    Snowed Out

by Who Knows, Not Us on 5/7/24Nugget Casino Resort - Sparks

We were unable to attend due to the road closures that were caused by the snow. We had a fluke storm blow threw that caused a lot of cancellations all up and down California and up into the Sierra. Wish we could have been there, we deserved a weekend away, instead we were turned around. The trip that was to take 2½-3 hrs ended up taking 11hrs😩

    disappointed

by tfan on 5/7/24Nugget Casino Resort - Sparks

First of all, I had trouble bringing up my tickets on the app. Had to have them bring up my tickets on their computer. Second, the venue was too large for the event. The sound was awful and some of the guests could not understand the artists. Jay Phillips was excellent. Cedric the Entertainer was less than hoped for.

Fun Time to Relax and Laugh

by PDebz on 5/7/24Nugget Casino Resort - Sparks

Cedric The Entertainer's show was good. While I hoped Cedric would engage the first few rows more, it was a great show. I thoroughly enjoyed his opening act.

    cedric show

by ronl on 5/7/24Nugget Casino Resort - Sparks

Cedric the entertainer was okay but i can't say anything good about the venue. The Nugget had it in their ballroom. Just rows and rows of seats. Thank goodness the people in front of us were short. The microphones weren't very good. It was hard to hear Cedric in the back where we were. The opening act sounded clearer but it still wasn't great. . The two screens to the right and left of the performers was far from HD quality. You could hardly make out their faces. i would never go there again for a show.

    Stunningly amazing performance

by Mr. B on 1/31/24Emerald Queen Casino - Tacoma

The great Cedric The Entertainer has once again shown his natural funny ability to ensure his audience laughter with his great comedic skills, keeping us on the edge of our seats, holding on not to fall onto the floor with outburst of thrilling laughter. Katt Williams is completely wrong about Cedric. By far Cedric The Entertainer is the most superior comedian

    Horrible

by April on 1/31/24Emerald Queen Casino - Tacoma

It was horrible the line to get drinks was way too long and only two servers it took us 30 minutes to get a soda. Also the show didn't start on time we sat in the event center for a whole hour before we just decided to leave and the show still hadn't even started so it was supposed to start at 8pm and we left at 9:30 pm. So I am really disappointed.
