Carrie Marie Underwood was born in 1983 into an idyllic childhood spent playing outdoors on the family farm, listening to country music, singing at her church and performing at local events such as Old Settler's Day in Checotah. After high school, she majored in broadcast journalism at Northeastern State University in her home state of Oklahoma. It was during her senior year that she auditioned for American Idol, a move that would propel her toward her dream of becoming a professional singer. Her debut album Some Hearts shot to multi-platinum, and her powerful and evocative 2006 ACM award-winning single, "Jesus Take the Wheel," garnered her international acclaim and sealed her fate as one of country music's brightest superstars. From her first single "Inside Your Heaven" to her multiple awards and accolades since. Carrie has become an indelible fixture in modern country music.
Carrie always puts on a good show. I love that she comes to smaller venues and gives a great show. Good lights, great sound, overall a good concert. This was my 3rd time seeing Carrie Underwood. I have seen her in this smaller event center and at the huge American Airlines center in Dallas. She puts forth the same effort and sounds fantastic live.

Carrie was classy.....her band was well dressed. The performance was one of the very best I've attended at Choctaw Grand Theatre. She was tireless.

Vocals are amazing! Venue was unorganized getting in. But Carrie herself was amazing!
Carrie, what was that outfit all about? And in a 2 hr concert I'd expect at least ONE costume change! I was also surprised at how she had to scream every single song. That's not the Carrie we hear on the radio or tv! The musicians were super loud too, so maybe she had to scream to be heard? (I have perfect hearing too!) The other comment is how disappointed I am that everyone HAS to stand up! Three of my group of six can't handle that, so we ended up sitting and missing anything fun that you go to a concert to see! Unless I'm lucky enough to get front row seats in one of the sections I doubt I'll attend any concerts again. It sucks...
Was so glad we could make it to see her! She played so many of her songs from the beginning of her career to now. An enjoyable experience!
I've been to several Carrie Underwood shows, she never seems to disappoint. She has an amazing powerful voice. The venue at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino was very intimate and nice ,great show!

Great venue, easy to get in and out of parking, breezed through security check. Had a nice dinner before the show right on site so we didn't have to race around. Not a night person, but if I was there were plenty of activities to take in after the show as well. There were a few people in the audience making fools of themselves and getting in the way of others who wanted to watch the show, but that seems to be the norm at concerts. Remember people, the show is not about you! As far as the artist? Well, what can you say about Carrie that hasn't been said already. Great entertainer, variety of songs, amazing voice. I'd see her over and over again. My only slight disappointment is that she didn't have a costume change. Always love to see what she wears!
Carrie underwood is the whole package, beautiful, witty, talented beyond compare. The band was awesome, the show phenomenal!
Carrie Underwood did not disappoint. She has an amazing stage presence and focuses her shows on the crowd instead of crazy stage props. She performed for 2 hours and nailed every song! Would love to see her again!

It was a lot of money for a 90minute show with no opening act.
She was absolutely amazing!! I knew she would. She held one note for like ten mins!! Incredible!! Gave me goose bumps and the applause was the loudest I've ever heard!
