Carrie Marie Underwood was born in 1983 into an idyllic childhood spent playing outdoors on the family farm, listening to country music, singing at her church and performing at local events such as Old Settler's Day in Checotah. After high school, she majored in broadcast journalism at Northeastern State University in her home state of Oklahoma. It was during her senior year that she auditioned for American Idol, a move that would propel her toward her dream of becoming a professional singer. Her debut album Some Hearts shot to multi-platinum, and her powerful and evocative 2006 ACM award-winning single, "Jesus Take the Wheel," garnered her international acclaim and sealed her fate as one of country music's brightest superstars. by Schmik1 on 7/28/23The concert was fantastic! Carrie Underwood is a powerhouse and was amazing. I would see her again in a heartbeat. Getting out of the concert was a complete nightmare. We sat in our car for 1.5 hours without moving. There was no clear way to exit the parking field and the few people directing traffic had no idea what they were doing

by Saddie on 7/26/23Carrie Underwood put on a great show but the audience in front of us were irritating. They stood though the whole concert danced and sang. They had a great time. Unfortunately because of their actions we could only get a glimpse of Carrie now and then. Also the venue is too large. We were way in the back and Carrie was about 1/8” tall. So Treasure Island will not be a venue we visit again. Also the parking situation is a nightmare it took us almost 2 hours to get out of the lot. So 5 stars for Carrie and 0 stars for Treasure Island.

by MNTEDDY on 7/25/23Overall - we had a wonderful time. I am not a huge Country fan but felt like this would be a fun concert and it was. She was a dynamic performer and did a great job - very professional. I just wasn't familiar with many of her songs. People also complain a lot about the parking issues. We got there a bit early due to these concerns and drove right in and parked close up - which really benefitted us after the show. Thankfully they opened the gates by us and we were in our car and out within five minutes, so perhaps all the complaining is due to a lack of planning. Overall it was a great night enjoying an enjoyable show!

by Wengro on 7/24/23The Parking in the field was horrible and disorganized! Took us 2 hours to leave. Should have people that know what they are doing directing traffic. We will think twice about going to another event at the amphitheater.

by LLU on 7/24/23Carrie was outstanding!! There couldn’t have been a bad seat. BUT Treasure island…you absolutely NEED to improve your exit parking. We literally sat for 50 minutes in one place! It took over 90 minutes to exit! NOT GOOD!!

by Turtle on 7/24/23It was fun I like it so much she did a job I would not mind going to see Carrie underwood again I like the stuff she was wearing at her concert I would recommend her to my friends and family and anyone that doesn’t know about it and tell her everything about Carrie Underwood and she is pretty cool and fabulous I hope I get to meet her in person one day. Should be fun to hang out with. and she is a talented girl and she has gray looks. I would want to be like her someday I hope everyone enjoyed the concert. I know I did he put a great concert on.

by LAM on 7/24/23Was disappointed in the fact that everyone stood, im not opposed to this but sure wished TI had planned a better outdoor auditorium with this in mind for shorter people . We couldn't see anything, not even the screens, let alone those in there 70's needing to sit. We had an older couple sitting aside of us celebrating their 61st wedding anniversary, they couldn't see anything as well, they ended up leaving early out of frustration. They paid $$ for those tickets & couldn't enjoy/show/ their seats. I did as well paid good $$ for our tickets. Just couldn't see.😔 Caroline Jones was awesome, Carrie Underwood was fabulous, but wish I could have seen her. I will think twice about going to another Concert at TI because of this reason.

by Drew on 7/24/23She did amazing I'm sure but paying over $80 and couldn't even see the screen very well much less Carrie was disappointing. I was in the front row of general admission lawn and still could barely see the screen. I could have seen it better on TV!
