WOW!! I have been listening to their CD (Mr. Green Vol 1) non stop since I got it. When I had the chance to see them at the BB in NYC, I knew that I had to go! The show was honestly one of the most amazing shows I have ever seen (and I am a pretty harsh critic). The music is exquisite. The vocals are absolute perfection. The passion for music pours out of this band. It is the most beautiful thing to experience. Each song is a brilliant masterpiece. It was unlike every concert I have ever been to. On top of that, they couldn't be nicer. They didn't leave until any and every fan had a chance to meet them/get pics/get autographs. They are as nice as they are talented. This band is my absolute favorite, and I can not WAIT for the next show!!! I will be there with bells on!!!
This band is amazing! Definitely on their way up, uP, UP! Check them out if you get the chance.
These guys are INCREDIBLE!!! No ifs, ands or buts about it!!! They are incredibly talented. Definitely didn't disappoint!!
You will want to add their music to your play-list. Two brothers make up part of this great band, Reeve is the lead singer with great range and Zane will amaze you with his guitar mastery, together the four guys make you stop and listen. If you haven't heard them play, put it on your list.
This was my 2nd time seeing Carney live and they did not disappoint. This LA based group mixes a fusion of styles and influences with great singing by Reeve Carney and inventive guitar playing by brother Zane Carney along with bassist Aiden Moore and drummer Jon Epcar. There is a strong Beatles influence permeating the songwriting aspect of this band whereas the musicianship and live performance is very experimental mixing jazz and soul undertones with a rock structure reminding me of Queen. The bottom line is they have great songs: classic ones like "Love Me Chase Me" and the blistering live staple "Testify". However some of the best moments were the newer songs such as "Resurrection" and the wonderfully inventive song "Joan of Arc". These show the band as growing in all phases of their craft. I can't wait to hear what Reeve,Zane,Aiden and Jon come up with next. The future is bright indeed and we may all be wearing shades from the glare of the music!
The boys lit up the stage, new songs are coming along well and the old stuff was amazing as always. They are going to get a HUGE new fan base when they open up for U2 and they DESERVE it!
I have to thank Spider-Man TOTD being the reason I even discovered the band Carney. After searching for years and years to find the perfect band with music I love...that is what Carney is. This was my first time seeing them live and it was the best show I've seen in years. The four of them are beyond amazing.
The best show I've ever been too. I'm having withdrawals already!
Officially my favorite band to see live!!!!!!!! They're so good! Amazing guitar and drums!
