Any second
State Farm Arena - Atlanta
Outside is venue was terrible. Felt like I could be robbed at any second. Very aggressive panhandling. The Atlanta police need to do a better job at getting rid of the aggressive panhandling.

State Farm Arena is meh
State Farm Arena - Atlanta
I have been to many events, but this was my first at State Farm Arena. The food choices are great and the quality is even better. However, the arena itself is horrible. The seats are literally on top of each other. At 5’1 120 lbs, that says a lot. You can barely sit in your seat without touching people seated beside you. This is the most uncivilized i e been in a stadium or arena. I will do my best not to return to this venue.
Atlanta Hawks at State Farm Arena
State Farm Arena is the home of the NBA's Atlanta Hawks. The sports and entertainment venue recently completed a massive $192.5M renovation, the second largest in NBA history, just in time to celebrate the team's 50th year in Atlanta.
The transformed arena features the third-largest center-hung scoreboard in the NBA, new sightlines with 360-degree concourse and new seating.
The venue also features the first-of-its-kind in-venue entertainment options with Topgolf Swing Suites, the company's first permanent amenity in a major sports arena, Killer Mike's SWAG Shop (a 4-chair barbershop overlooking the court) and the signature Hawks Bar, the NBA's first courtside bar. Additionally, Zac Brown, the frontman for Zac Brown Band, brings his passion for food, music, design and hospitality to the Zac Brown Social Club neighborhood.
State Farm Arena is the first NBA venue to offer fan-friendly food pricing with 12 popular food and beverage items priced at $5 or less.
The team has retired the jerseys in honor of Hawks greats: Bob Pettit, Dominique Wilkins, Lou Hudson, "Pistol" Pete Maravich, and Dikembe Mutombo.
State Farm Arena is a next-generation arena focused on entertaining the next generation of Atlanta Hawks fans.

Atlanta Hawks History
The lineage of the Hawks dates to 1946, when as the Tri-Cities Blackhawks they played in the NBA's forerunner, the National Basketball League. They moved to Milwaukee in 1951, shortening their name, and then to St. Louis in 1955, enjoying success behind the presence of future Hall of Famer Bob Pettit. They made the NBA finals four times in a five-year stretch, defeating the Boston Celtics to capture the franchise's only title in 1958. In 13 seasons in St. Louis, the Hawks missed the playoffs only once.
After the franchise moved to Atlanta, the Hawks' postseason runs continued for five years, fueled by the likes of Pete Maravich, Lou Hudson, and Walt Bellamy. In 1976, Ted Turner bought the team and installed Hubie Brown as coach, and by his second season, the team was again a playoff contender.
The Dominique Wilkins era began in 1982, with "The Human Highlight Film" leading the team to four straight 50-win seasons beginning with the 1985-86 season.
The arrival of Dikembe Mutombo helped keep the Hawks in the postseason in the late 1990s, but the new millennium brought a difficult eight-year dry spell. That ended with the 2007-08 season, the first of 10 consecutive years in which they earned a playoff berth. Tops in that run was their 60-win 2014-15 season, when a team led by the likes of Paul Millsap, Al Horford and Jeff Teague won the Eastern Conference championship, only to be swept by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the conference finals.
In 2019-20, the team was led by Trae Young and John Collins. Young led the team at 29.6 points and 9.3 assists per game. Collins averaged 21.6 points and 10.1 rebounds per game.
During the 2021-22 regular season, Young led the NBA in total points (2,155) and total assists (737). During the post-season, the Atlanta Hawks went on an incredible playoff run, led by their star Trae Young, that saw them advance to the Eastern Conference Finals where they lost to eventual NBA Champion Milwaukee Bucks.
Effective June 30, 2022, the Atlanta Hawks acquired 2022 NBA All-Star guard Dejounte Murray.
