    Apollo 13

by jjhaaa on 1/3/13Tacoma Dome - Tacoma

This was wonderful - took son and his friend for our son's 13th birthday - we all loved it! You have to sit at the consoles. Try to get into the front or the back - middle section not too much audience participation. This was our son's first "live" performance and he and his friend both loved it. I think anyone from 10-90 would enjoy.

This was definitely an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon for anyone interested in the space program. However, unless you really want to pay nearly double to sit at a console with the possibility of saying a few scripted lines and pushing some buttons which don't actually do anything, I would just get the press seats and enjoy the show.

    not for all ages

by dadandi on 1/1/13Tacoma Dome - Tacoma

while i am 48 and took my father who is in his 70's this show was definitely geared more towards families with kids aged around 6-12. the actors were great with the interactive portion involving as many "members" of mission control as possible, but the attention is more intended for those who can let inhibitions go, and who more than children.... it would have been nice to know this going in or at least have more info about it pre-purchase. It is great learning experience for the kids who may never know what space programs started, the perils, and the people dedicated to NASA.

Interesting, entertaining at the same time.

by raincitygirl on 12/31/12Tacoma Dome - Tacoma

Experience with the Houston mock control room was unforgettable. Active audiance participation to bring the astronauts back was so much fun. You never really knew what was really going to be said.

    Fantastic show!

    by Michelita1 on 12/30/12Tacoma Dome - Tacoma

I was fortunate enough to be able to enjoy the show on two occasions - from both the console & press box seating arrangements. Loved it both times, and have great appreciation for the improv abilities of the "actors". Never have I experienced something that combines so many facets of entertainment & suits the humor needs of both young & old. So glad to have had this experience with my family. We all enjoyed it - even my sceptical 13-year old daughter. "Ashley" & "Walter" were my favorites :).

    Unique, unforgettable experience!

    by Rugby79 on 12/30/12Tacoma Dome - Tacoma

A highly interactive unique experience. Great acting really allowed you to be in the moment. There was a nice blend of action, drama, and comedy. The "set" design was amazing with a majority of the seats at a mission control console, some with working rotary dial phones, others with monitors to watch the astronauts status. Goes way beyond the cliche "performers in the aisles" and put you right in the middle of the action, problem solving, and interacting directly with the performers.

    Apallo 13 was FUN!!

by grislydabeah on 12/29/12Tacoma Dome - Tacoma

Took my 18 year old physics major son--he said it was his best Christmas present ever! the interactive aspect of this presentation added a lot to the fun. A couple technical glitches (my phone as US Navy liason didn't work for the first half) were a little distracting, but it was still a blast. You should offer DVD's of the each shows o the participants can have a record' especially the ones like me who cant figure out their smart phones!!
