Disney’s ALADDIN is a dazzling and extravagant showcase of special effects — including a flying magic carpet during “A Whole New World” — as well as glittering-gold costumes and art deco-style sets that mirror the grandeur of a Busby Berkeley musical. One of Broadway’s most popular musical comedies, the show opened at the legendary New Amsterdam Theatre on March 20, 2014, and has since broken numerous house records (grossing over $500 million on Broadway). Eight-time Oscar winner Alan Menken composed the show’s music. The lyrics are by two-time Oscar winner Howard Ashman (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid), as well as three-time Tony Award and three-time Oscar winner Tim Rice and six-time Tony Award nominee Chad Beguelin. The book is by Beguelin and direction/choreography is by two-time Tony Award-winner Casey Nicholaw.

Alladin was fantastic! Excellent acting and great singing. The flying carpet was amazing.
Saw this for a second time with different grandchild. He loved it and i loved it even more the second time around. Cast was still fresh and performance was full of life and energy. Still humming.
Loved it it’s one the best shows in Manhattan the seats were great
As my daughter’s first Broadway show everything was perfect. The cast was fantastic and the crew was welcoming. They even offered a booster seat for my daughter to ensure she had the best experience.
Very entertaining The children all had the best time
Our family of four very much enjoyed the musical. The sets and costumes were beautiful, and the scene and costume changes were IMPRESSIVE. All of the actors were very talented! The play was funny, but definitely tailored to the young. Our young teens enjoyed it but would not want to see it a second time.
Cast, music & choreography were great. Theater is a little dated.
Our trip to NY (all the way from Idaho) would not have been complete had we not seen Aladdin. My granddaughter who was celebrating her 6th birthday and her little bestie were mesmerized during the whole show. The mamas also thought it was an incredible experience. Well worth it!!
Staff was pleasant directing us. The entire play cast was all that!! Hug the Jennie for me!!!
Loved every thing about this Broadway show! First time doing this and we loved it; each actor portrayed their character to an amazing level and did not fail! Great job to the entire cast !
I’m a bigger fan of Aladdin Disney’s movie and I’m shocked how good is this Broadway show. I enjoyed every single second there. Love the staging, the colors they used to represent every detail. The characters were so great and I recommend to go and watch it 100% I’ll definitely come back and bring my family with me this time! ♥️✨🧞♂️🪄
What a beautiful surprise was the performance, all that you made was first level show! Congrats! And I hope to see you guys as soon as possible!
A lifetime experience! My whole family enjoyed it and was amazed of all the details: great singers/actors, beautiful scenography, entertained, funny, a wonderful show overall.
A few minutes after the play started a couple who sat in our row were allowed in. We hsd to get up could bearly move being in row A. Disrupting everyone. If you can't make it on time you should have to stand and wait at the back until intermission.
