About

Tis the season to celebrate everyone’s favorite Peanuts pals as they dig past the commercialized gimmicks of presents and decorations to rediscover the true meaning of Christmas. Through a pageant and a spindly tree, Charlie Brown and friends bring the holiday spirit back to life for families once again! “And for Charlie Brown, it was truly the merriest Christmas ever.”

    Short, but sweet--perfect for kids

by Susie0107 on 1/11/17Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

Snoopy was hilariously animated and the whole cast was fun to watch--both me and my 8 year old loved it!

    Bring children

by ChiDove on 1/10/17Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

Play was not worth the price of the ticket. It was cute, but not something I would go to again or recommend to friends unless they have children under the age of 6 to take with them. Snoopy's character was entertaining, but that's it.

    Great Show for kids!

by dmv24 on 1/3/17Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

My 4 year old grandson loves Charile Brown and has seen the tv animated version several times. I was concerned that he might not like the live version...I was totally wrong. He smiled the entire time. He loved it, Not too long, 45 mins. and you can take your pic with the cast members and get their autographs. Highly recommend if you have children who are into Charlie Brown.

    Poor High School Play

by AuntieChele on 12/31/16Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

I am so disappointed. I felt that this was over priced, over hyped and a bad high school musical. I was really looking forward to taking my nephews to this and it was just so disappointing.

Child friendly and something adults would love!!

by Stefwalt on 12/31/16Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

We took my parents who were in their 70's and my son who is 8. I can say it was wonderful. Both generations had a great time and there was such familiarity with the production for all. The cast was sooo spirited and that wrapped up the audience immediately . It's nice to go to a production even a small one that actually allows kids to be involved, laugh, dance and recite the words along with the actors. You can also tell this cast really enjoyed putting on the performance!!!

    mediocre show

by critical12 on 12/29/16Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

The best thing I can say about this show is that it was short. Really short. Like-45 minutes. Definitely not worth the expense of the ticket plus parking at Water Tower Place. They stuck EXACTLY to the script of the original cartoon, There were a couple of chuckles and the kids seemed to like it, but it was overall a waste of time and money.
