Not Too Bad
The Pageant - St Louis
The show was good. I laughed a lot. The first act was a local comedian and he was awesome. He started slow but once he got into it, I wished he hadn't stopped. I also wish I could remember his name... *blush* The second act was some women. She I could have done without. I laughed once or twice, but she was trying way too hard to be vulgar and dirty. There was just too much out of it out of the box, so when something she said would have normally been funny, I was already numb to the dirtiness of her act and it didn't shock me into laughing. Dave Attell did a great job. He started strong and was very funny throughout. Things did get a little slower at the end when I felt he was reaching to fill up time with "Watcha Drinking?" jokes. Overall, a good show. I was entertained. :)

Dave could not have been better Hillariouis
The Pageant - St Louis
If you think Dave was great on Insomniac, you haven't seen how funny he is yet. Dave Pulls no punches & works the crowd well, we laughed through the entire show. Dave is a genuinely funny comic who doesn't rely on shock factor to keep his audience's attention. Don't get me wrong, Dave doesn't toe the morality line, he jumps over it repeatedly, he just doesn't use it as a crutch. Many comics say "I'll see you after the show", then you see them hocking cd's trying to move you along like cattle. Dave was came outside after about 10 minutes & just hung out with everyone. We were outside with the crowd for about 10 minutes, shook everyone's hand, took pictures with us, just a nice genuine guy. We left and walked a long way to our car & passed the Pageant leaving, Dave was still hanging out with fans. I would recommend seeing Dave to anyone.

Seemed unprepared
Wilbur Theatre - Boston
the guy before him was a lot funnier. I've seen Dave Attell before and he was hilarious, this flopped. His routine was real disconnected, same old jokes, he knew he didn't do well, not a lot of laughs.

Best Show since Carlin
Wilbur Theatre - Boston
Dave Attell was hilarious when I saw him in Boston. He did all new material, not even material from his most recent special. Was on point with jokes and improv. Finished off show with his awesome pick a drink and he'll tell you how your ends routine. Best show I have been to since Carlin!

Atell Never Disappoints
Wilbur Theatre - Boston
As Dave said: he "likes to work for laughs"! This show was at 7:30 PM, and the venue did not serve alcohol. Could have been a tough crowd, but, of course - Dave was outrageous and hilarious!

Attell was good
Wilbur Theatre - Boston
This is the second time we saw Dave. We saw him at the old Comedy Connection location in Fanuille Hall about 3 years ago. I think he was funnier the first time but I'm not sure if it was the fact that it was the first time seeing him live or the material or presentation was superior. He also had a great opener named Nick (somebody) who did an awesome job.
