    Awesome Zeppelin tribute band

by NoQuarter on 7/15/09JANNUS LANDING COURTYARD - St Petersburg

Led Zeppelin has to be the hardest band to play, but ZOSO does a great job. I've seen them twice, and both times was amazed by their musical talent and how well they copied their mannerisms.

Zeps a hard act to duplicate

by Daveis on 7/15/09Val Air Ballroom - West Des Moines

This is the first Zeppelin cover band I've seen. I've listened to Zeppelin a lot in my youth so I know what the albums sound like note for note. The music is close enough to be enjoyable. The problem that any Zep cover band faces is duplicating Robert Plant. Zoso's lead singer does an alright job, but you never really feel like you are listening to Plant other than on a handful of songs. I really don't think the all-female cover bands would have done any better of a job. All things considered if go in realizing Bonham is dead and Plant won't tour with Zep anymore, this might be the closest thing you are going to get to see in your town.

    memorable night with ZOSO

by Hawkeye56 on 7/14/09Val Air Ballroom - West Des Moines

The sound mix could have been better. The vocals were not up to same level most of the time with instrumentals. All and all the songs were pretty much as they were supposed to be repeated by a cover band in a live performance. I would see them again.

You have to go see Zoso!

by peacenikgirl on 7/14/09The Intersection - Grand Rapids

This was my first time seeing Zoso, but I would definitely go see them again. It really was like seeing Led Zeppelin; they even had the "moves" down...I swear the guy doing Robert Plant was him just by the way he stood. The music was spot on too and I didn't hear one wrong note (which I have with other tribute bands). They did many of my favourite Zeppelin tunes, even a few lesser known songs. Really, my only beef is that there was a drum solo that I think went on a bit too long, but other than that, the show really rocked.

    ZOSO

AWESOME! They nail Zeppelin right on the head! This was my second time seeing them and every time I leave feeling like I saw Zeppelin live in 1970!

    Zoso is an amazing show!!

by LunchBocks on 7/14/09Val Air Ballroom - West Des Moines

Very awesome show indeed!! The guitarist is out of this world. He never missed a note all night and hit all the solo's just as they were originally done. My only gripe is they didn't sound check the mic very well and the music tended to drown out the singing. Other than that, a flawless recreation of Led Zeppelin.

    Zoso Rocks

by RainSong on 7/11/09Uptown Theater - Kansas City

Zoso nails the Led Zeppelin experience. The licks are perfect, the guitars are the same as Jimmy's. The set list covered the hits from the first 6 albums, and the concert lasted about 2 1/2 hours and the band hung out with the crowd after. I'm teaching my kid to play Zeppelin on the guitar and he was amazed with the concert. He was inspired.

    ZOSO was forgettable...

by deb4earth on 7/11/09Uptown Theater - Kansas City

I am a huge fan of Zeppelin! I realize it would be difficult if not impossible to impersonate them perfectly but... I don't think the Uptown theater helped much, it was way too big for this show. We actually left to go get something to eat not half way through. I was so looking forward to an evening of memories...disappointed. We have tickets to Houses of the Holy July 25 with fingers crossed... :)
