Zoe Keating Tickets

Zoe Keating is one of a kind. She is innovative. She possesses the ability to tell stories with her cello and bow, looping in her own background rhythms. And she is a welcoming host, telling background stories about her songs and techniques. When I listen to her, I am transported away and my imagination soars with her music. The lighting for this show was simple and excellent, adding ambience to her performance. After the show, she graciously met with audience members. She conversed with us and listened. She especially enjoyed talking to the children. I would change nothing about her appearance at the Birchmere.

As with every performance, Zoe Keating was personable, authentic, and her music sublime. A must see show always.

I have listened to her music for years and thought it was creative, but didn’t realize she was creating the music as she performed. Exceptional!

Zoe's music is so beautiful. I wish that I had been able to get there earlier and sit a little closer so I could see more closely how she does her looping, but it was wonderful to be in the room for it. The food at Birchmere was good, and it there was plenty of parking.

Zoe's performance fully satisfied our high expectations.The music itself was dreamy and unlike anything we had seen before. And Zoe's musicality, solo and involving her complex management of the cello itself in combination with her complex computer looping footwork was quite impressive. The audience loved her!

I’ve been waiting a long time to see Zoe Keating and I’ve heard of it but have never been to the Birchmere. So when Zoe came in our area and performed here, this became a night to remember...many thanks for making that happen!

She was such a doll! Not only is she talented musically but she had me laughing between pieces too. After the show she stayed to talk, sign cds and take pictures. Bronze Peacock Room is perfect for such a nice small intimate show like this.

This should have been a once in a lifetime, up close experience with one of my favorite artists. It was an eclectic venue, though the bar staff was inexperienced and loud, and the nearby parties ruined the ambiance with heavy beats and screaming. I felt bad for Zoe, but she held it together with her typical earthy performance and humor. Her playing was near flawless, and I could tell where the songs had evolved beyond her previous recordings. Wish I had stayed to chat! Well done Zoe and I wish you all the best.

I never in a million years would think one person playing a cello would be jaw dropping, but after watching Zoe Keating play for two hours I was definately wrong. She's probably one of the most talented musicians I have ever seen. Every song including ones I've never heard were done with such feeling and inspiration it was hard not to see the emotion. Any body who is on the fence I suggest go, you'll not regret it. I almost bought tickets for her show the next day but I had to work.

I had been listening to her music for a while prior to seeing this show, so I knew how good her music was. However, seeing her perform it live is a whole other ball of wax. She's simply amazing! I hope that everyone takes an opportunity to see her perform.
