I enjoyed the comic relief by bengie brown during the game and the old people dancing. that for me was the highllight of the event great job! I also enjoyed see ing the children. the half time show was a total disaster!!!!!!!!!!!! IT SOUNDED HORRIBLE, LIKE A BUNCH OF NOISE ON STAGE!!! please dont do that again....
This was my first time attending ZSG Basketball game. It was an all-star game if having only 2 all-star players (Wade and Rondo even though Rondo didn't play a minute) counts. They did have some good players like Bass, Lawson, Mo Peterson,etc. The game itself lacked explosion. You can find more excitement in a street pick up game. However, the rest of the event added the fun. Flo-Rida was the half time show. There were lots of freebies and prizes. The highlight of the show were the Golden Oldies. They brought the house down!! All in all, Im eager to see if next year they can revamp the All-Star lineup. Simply let the Heat roster play. That'd be enough.
It started an hour late and the all-star game did not have the "star" power I expected. Who were those guys?!
The event was overall still fun. I am visiting here from Georgia and got last minute tickets online. Did not expect to get anything in the lower decks and I was right. When I searched for tickets online, I only picked 1st and 2nd deck and it stated nothing available. We were sitting in the 310 section and had almost no participation from the t-shirt throw or parachute drop. We were up to high to really get involved. Yet we could see plenty of open seats all the way to the lower decks.
There were no real stars besides Wade. We all expected so much more. The music was geared just to ceratin people..so were the half time performance..
We had really great seats almost near the court. The game, prizes, and the entertainment were all amazing. Wasn't really into the half time act, I think it ran a bit long and got boring really quickly. The game was fun to listen to because whoever was announcing the game was really funny. It was great. I'll be back next year with courtside seats.

Anything for kids makes it an AWESOME event :) Just wished there was a little more interaction with the audience BUT this is my 5th year going & wouldn't miss it for the world.
I must give a biggup to Alonzo Mourning for even starting this event....he always give us a great show at half-time and everything b4 and after. And now that I live across the street I hope to make all of his events to come. Once again great job guys......now rest.
The game was supposed to start at 1:00 p.m. It didn't actually start until almost 2:30 p.m. We entered the arena around 12:30. Once you go inside, you can't go outside and then come back inside. It was really hard keeping our 6 year old from getting bored during the almost 2 hour wait for the game to start. By the time the game actually started - he could have cared less. All he wanted to do was leave and play on the bounce houses outside. Of course we couldn't do that because we wouldn't be able to go back inside the arena. I could understand the game starting a little bit late - but it started more than 1 hour late and that just wasn't right. Even though it was for charity, it ended up being a big waste of money.
The event was fun however expected to see more known players in the game. This was really not a game, it was for entertainment purposes only. The overall purpose of the weekend was wonderful. Keep doing what you guys are doing.
The event overall was great! I enjoyed the game and the various entertainment during time-outs. My kids age 9 and 12 also enjoyed it. I would have liked the introduction of the players to be more visible. I sat in the section 111, row 30 and the cameras, parachutes, and t-shirts never made it there. My sons are basketball fans and I would have liked for them to participate in the clinics.
I went with the idea that there were going to be some great basketball players in the event. The only superstar was D-Wade. Rondo didn't play and was suppose to. It was simply a mediocre event. To me and the people that were with me it was simply boring.
Nice Outing for family and community! But, there needs to be more "fun" and "shenanigans" on the basketball court during the game. Since the game means nothing- they should have the mascot on the court to interact with the players to get laughs and applause from the audience. Otherwise, make the game meaningful-what does the winner get? what must the losers do? then we would have something to cheer about.
Where were all the Ballers? No Names and second team players on the court. Game was sorry. Rondo didn't play and Wade was great but that was it. Next time get some real players.
I was disappointed in the "all-star" line up. No LeBron, No Bosh, No Fun. I went a couple of years ago and they had a super star line up of. LeBron, Beasley, Nat Robinson..... Wade and LeBron performed a dance and you could actually see the excitement and the fun coming from the floor. This year it seemed like it was a chore for them. They did not do the 5 point from the Carnival Ship at the 2 minute mark and this was very exciting to me. I am a day one Miami Heat fan and was so looking forward to see the excitment of the big three plus Miami Heat. There was not even an annoucement. Nothing! I am also a huge Dwayne Wade fan and I was so sad to see that during the singing of the National Anthem, he was turning his back and speaking to others on the bench. Then in the middle of the singing, he sat down to do something with his shoes. I just found that to be disrespectful and not something for our youth to witness. We always teach them to respect and be proud of our country and to see this coming from someone they look up to leaves much to be desired. Shame on you Wade!
Wade and Alonzo keeps us entertain for over 3-hrs with a lot giveaways and nice Half time show with Flo-rida. My boys and I had a fantastic time and will doing it again....
Great family event and also a great way to support local causes. Hats off to the Alonzo Mourning family for their continued dedication.
I've been to this even forthe past couple years. It has been better. I think this year was a bit boring. The cast was boring; there wernt any outstanding players. I wish I would of sold my tickets when I had a chance...
My 16yr old son, my best friend and I totally enjoyed the game and the event on a whole. We just expected a lot more for the half-time show while it was ok I expected better production. Where we sat in section 112 very few parachutes fell in that area so that was disappointing. I thought Alonzo and Dwayne did an awesome job and I look forward to next year's event I would definitely be supporting. Keep up the great work. Love you guys!!!
