Yusuf, popularly known as Cat Stevens, one of the best-selling singer-songwriters in history, is back on tour again, mixing evergreen hits, such as "Wide World," "Morning Has Broken" and "Moonshadow," with powerful new songs for the new millennium. In concert, his ringing voice radiates serenity, infusing his thrilled audiences with a brightening glow. His 2009 album tour for "Roadsinger" included acclaimed TV appearances with Jay Leno, Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Colbert. In 2010, he rocked in Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert's Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear, and his long-awaited European tour in 2011 packed concert arenas in Germany, France, the Netherlands, Austria and Belgium.
Yusuf first gained world renown as Cat Stevens in the '70s with albums such as "Tea for the Tillerman," "Teaser and the Firecat" and "Catch a Bull at Four," and his songs continue to be covered by many artists. "Peace Train" was a hit for Dolly Parton and also used in the movie soundtracks for "We Are Marshall" and "Remember the Titans," and stirringly sung by Yusuf himself for the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize Concert.
Cat Stevens became Yusuf Islam in 1977 when he converted to Islam. His art, always layered with the lyricism of mystics, found a further fusion of the spirit and human worlds in the musical core of the Koran. He continued to create best-selling albums, and his charitable work for peace and education expanded exponentially. In 2005, ASCAP named his song, "The First Cut Is the Deepest," Song of the Year, also naming him Songwriter of the Year. In 2013, he was nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

No dancers, no lipsyncing, no overpowering band members --- all Yusuf/Cat Stevens. He has not lost his power over an audience. He sang all his classics and I'd say his voice has improved over the years. Keep touring, Cat, keep that Peace Train rolling!
Hands down one of the best shows I have ever seen! His voice was incredible. I have no problems with the mix of old and new songs he played. Yes, his new music is a little more bluesy but if you love his voice and musical talent they are just as good as his classics. I literally cried when I heard him sing as I realize how lucky I was to be able to hear him and who knows if it will happen again. I also had no issue with the security to avoid scalping. Kinda getting sick of not being able to get tickets to anything or having to buy through a third party and paying insane fees. Anyways, again he was Amazing and I was thrilled the entire time and the crowd was awesome.
Concert was amazing. I didn't know what we've been missing for the last 38 years, but he's back sounding as good as ever . I hope this won't be his last concert. He played all his crowd pleasing old songs.
Unbelievable, unforgettable. The energy of the crowd have me goosebumps and the entire performance was perfect. Cried at the end. His music has the power of peace and love.

What an honor to have Cat Stevens in Boston. The Wang center is a beautiful venue and the acoustics were great. Although I think the extras were overpriced. The concert was fantastic.

I hope this isn't the end of his US touring, because he was amazing. His voice still resonates and the entire show was so moving. For me, being 30 years old, I never got to see him perform back in the '70's, so this was an incredible experience. ENCORE!!!!!!
It took me back to the 70's!! He sounded better than he did back then and the backup band was also unbelievable. The best concert I ever attended!

Simply the best night of music in my life. Yusuf and his band were mind-blowingly good from start to finish. It was the most anticipated concert of my life and it did not disappoint. Actually, it exceeded my every expectation. The new music was wonderful and the old songs sounded fresh and energetic while remaining true to their original beauty and spirit. The audience was on fire along with Yusuf and the joy and energy of the evening was palpable to all. What a blessing it was for me to attend. I drove many miles and across several states alone to get to Philadelphia. I recommend any Yusuf/Cat Steven lover do the same as it is worth all of the effort it takes. It has been days since the concert and I remain deeply moved and grateful for the priviledge.
Excellent performance by a legend! Yusuf did a great mix of hits, deep tracks & newer material. The acoustics were fantastic as was the band.
He was amazing. The show was grand and he has not missed a beat ( after 38 years between concerts ) He was my very first concert and it was well worth the 38 year wait to see him again. This is a not miss concert. If you have the chance to get tickets, get them!
The only downside to the show was the amount of time it took to get into the theatre because of the lack of paper tickets. It took almost an hour on line to be seated. However, once Cat Stevens took the stage, the rest of the night was just sensational. His voice sounds just as it did 40 years ago. The stage was a well designed train station (for the peace train) and the set list was a great mix of old and new. I don't think I've been to a show where the audience was so into the show. It was truly great!

It was the best concert we ever attended! Welcome back Cat!!! He sounds better now than he did forty years ago. The back-up band was excellent but I missed the female backup vocalists he had on the Magikat tour. He HAS to make a dvd of this tour and I hope he will be touring the US again soon. It brought us back to the 70's!!!! Thanks a lot.
Cat Steven's sounded as good as every record of his I ever played. I finally got the chance to see him after all these years. I was 15 years old when I started listening to his albums and I was not old enough to be able to see him in concert when he last preformed. I an SO HAPPY he finally changed his mind about preforming and bringing joy to the World through his music once again. His music was a calming influence on my early teenage years and hearing him and seeing him in person meant the world to me. THANK YOU YUSUF for being Cat Stevens again!
