This was such an adorable play!! The young actors were amazing !
Amazing play and all characters as well. It had the right amount of humor and not too much music. Everything was perfect.
What an amazing group of actors, their parents must be truly proud. I enjoyed the acting, the venue, the costumes, and the acoustics. I will definitely go to see the Addams Family in 4 weeks.
I took my Family to see this play because my daughter had played Lucy in her HS play. This brought back such wonderful memories!!! The kids were excellent and had some serious dance talent I noticed Kudos!
Unbelievable how exceptionally this company was at such young ages! Broadway bound, each of them!
The kids did an amazing job! The set was a little lacking. The scene changes a little long.
Great performance by the talented group of young professionals! Looking forward to their next show!
It was an hour long show, which was perfect for toddler age attendees. The backdrops were great. The characters did an amazing job, it was fast paced and exciting the entire time.
The cast of this production was outstanding. I found myself lost in the moment and couldn't help tearing up during Happiness. If you have a chance to see this production when it is on tour don't miss it!
Those kids are very talented & seemed to enjoy their performance. It was fun & energetic!
All the members of the musical were so well cast. Each played their roles with professional finesse and expertise. Linus, clutching his blanket, did a most outstanding job on the stage! It was apparent that Jeffrey Scott Parsons is very gifted with vocal, acting, and dancing abilities.
All of the characters were so well cast! The staging, music, and character representations were amazing!! My favorite character was Linus with his blanket. Even though he was more of a shy, soft-spoken character in the Charlie Brown group, it was apparent what great knowledge and insight he had towards life. It was so fun to be able to purchase a blue Linus blanket as a souvenir item for a wonderful evening!!
This was a classic and the actors did a phenomenal job!! The lead, Dane Biren, has a great stage presence and a wonderful voice!
This was advertised as a family event and I do not think that it was easily understood by small children.
this cast was talented for a "regional community theater" but the show itself was misdirected. "charlie brown" is a show that's stage is BARE except for scene changes that included JUST ONE of the following; a doghouse, a piano, a sofa or some 2 dimensional plywood trees. mind you scene changes involved replacing a doghouse with a sofa...and they were all way too long which caused the show to draaaaaag. the choreography was also overly simple. i've seen much better productions of this show. i happen to think the music is brilliant. btw, the orchestra was surprisingly good.
The actors brought the characters to life. They had such feeling and talent, I became completely immersed. It's amazing how they do it with such few sets for that show.
Characters were well casted and very talented. It's a must for Peanuts' fans. Very nostalgic and captured the essence of Charlie Brown and the gang.
Acting was great and story was good. I enjoyed the humor as did my wife. deserves 4 1/2 stars. I would go again and there is not a bad seat in the house.
The ISU student production of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" was a total surprise. The characters had fun on stage and their energy was contagious. What made it even more amazing was that not everyone in the cast was a Performing Arts major. "Lucy" made me believe her - "Charlie Brown" was so perfectly pathetic that he made my 18-year-old daughter want to cry she felt so sorry for him. The rest of the cast was good -- but true to form (and making Charles Schultz proud, I'm sure) "Snoopy" stole the show. Amazing voice. Facial expression. Total stage presence. He really owned the part. This was my first time in Fisher Auditorium and my first ISU student production. All in all, I can hardly wait until the next one.
