Yo Gotti, whose real name is Mario Mims, started rapping in 1996 in Memphis, Tennessee and honed his street life story telling, southern style over a series of independently released albums, including 2000’s From Da Dope Game 2 Da Rap Game, 2003’s Life and 2006’s Back 2 da Basics. Following multiple singles between 2009 and 2011, including 5 Star, Look In the Mirror, and Women Lie, Men Lie featuring Lil Wayne, he released his major label debut studio album Live From The Kitchen in January 2012 on RCA Records. It premiered at #12 on the Billboard charts, and featured verses from Rick Ross, Jadakiss and 2 Chainz. In October 2012, he also released the seventh version of his well-known mixtape series Cocaine Muzik, entitled Cocaine Muzik 7: The World Is Yours. In early 2013, Gotti announced that both he and his label CMG had signed a distribution deal with Epic Records and L.A. Reid, and that his next album, I Am, would be released in late 2013. Its first single was Act Right had guests Young Jeezy and YG, followed by King Shit with T.I., and Cold Blood featuring J. Cole and Canei Finch. The I Am tour stopped for concerts in 40 cities in the fall of 2013, exciting ticket buyers with supporting acts YG, Zed Zilla, Shy Glizzy and Cash Out.

Even got to take a pic with him. He was hype as always even let ppl on stage.
This concert was a birthday present to myself. I really enjoyed it, I wish I would have been more prepared for the after party, but I had to get to my child.
I loved the full show the game (supersexyself) and yo gotti amps the concert up and puts 110% into the performance ... ace hood only stayed on stage for about 10 mins which it seemed like he just had some where else to be but he was still sexy in person :) !!
The concert was live. All the way turned up. They included the crowd and let some on one stage with them. The Game & Yo Gotti did the damn thang. Ace Hood didn't do enough and wasn't on stage long. Same on him!!!
After waiting for hours for the show to start before and in-between performances, Ace Hood came on and did merely 2 verses of 2 songs, The Game was even worse with all his goons starting fights with people in the audience along with singing half a verse of Ali Bomaye only. I was sitting in row 2 of the floor but somehow the security guards were just letting anyone through the 1st row area in front the stage, making my seat's view highly obscured. Yo Gotti did his thing when he finally did come on stage. Will probably never go to another concert at the River Center. I'll save my money for New Orleans shows.
This was the best concert that I've been to in a long time in Memphis. It started at 8:05pm. Since I was close to the stage, the bass in the speakers was a little loud but I had a great time.
So proud of a young guy from the hood in Memphis to perform in THE ORPHEUM! That was big!!!! I thank God that everybody behaved themselves. I look forward to the next show:)
This JUNT was so LIVEEE!! I had a blast!! All the artist did a great show.
The show was simply A M A Z I N G I loved every minute of it I just wish he had a back stage package & or a VIP section
The concert/ birthday ash was awesome. I love yogotti so much and to see all the other stars was a plus. I also enjoyed that all the tickets Were all the same price. That was wonderful to be able to sit and party were ever you wanted. The orphem was also a great place to have a concert. Everyone was nice and patient. Needs to happen again. We helped make history. First rapper ever to preform there.
Yo Gotti did an awesome job!! A performance I will never forget! It's that he performs more in Memphis!
This concert was so exciting and energy filled. Alot of surprise guests that kept the crowd wanting more!!
This event was super GREAT ! Everyone I went with was amazed at how many special guest Gotti had including myself. We were turned up to the max and wouldnt mind going to another Gotti Bash/Concert!
It was GREAT!! It was all I expected and more! I didn't sit down the entire show.
Yo Gotti turnt up and put on for his home!!! I loved the event!! Wish I could experience it all over again! Cant wait for another show!
This was BY far one of THE MOST greastest shows I have ever attended. Gotti put on one amazing show & he brought out PLENTY of special guest, the list includes: Cash out Jadakiss Nelly Jeezy Travis porter Starlito Zed Zilla Skool Boy & Don trip. He performed music back from day one until the actual day of the concert. Another great thing about the show was he made all the ticket prices the same & I hear the concert money is being donated to lebonheur here in Memphis! Thats an awesome thing! Im so happy for him & his many accomplishments, I love my city & seeing people move up in life, Way to go Gotti!
Greattttttt show ! There was never a dull moment and I really enjoyed myself.
I enjoyed myself the whole night. Not only did Yo Gotti perform well, his special guest where in the house!!
We came to see Yo Gotti and got a LIIIIIIIIIVE performance out of him for about 45 minutes after we had been at the show waiting on him to come out for over 3 hours. The performance was what I expected+more, but when I pay to see an entertainer, I expect to see that person perform for a majority of the time.
