Cool well informed guide, just think we were rushing a bit.
Great tour, friendly and informative tour guide. Was impressed by the history of the stadium (current and past) and of the club itself.
We went not knowing anything about the sport or the team. We left know a lot. The tour guide was amazing and the stadium was absolutely fantastic would recommend to anyone.
It was ok, butt a prefere football tour, we did not see the dreasing room
Preface this with the fact that I’ve been to tours at Wrigley, Kauffman, and NFL stadiums in Carolina and Dallas. This was by far the least impressive, which is crazy because of the history available. No dugout visit, no visiting team locker room, no checking out the field. All of those are part of the previous 4 tours, among other interesting parts. This tour comprised of the press box, Monument Park, and the Museum. That’s it. You’d expect that when paying for a tour, you’d get the opportunity to do some unique things you can’t do during a game. That wasn’t the case here. Looking at Babe Ruth’s jersey is certainly cool, but it wouldn’t be that hard to take you field level to just look. There’s 3 security guards in addition to the tour guide - that should be plenty to ensure people aren’t doing something stupid. Just left disappointed
Had friends from outer state visit and bought tickets to tour Yankee stadium. There was no locker room visiting which they said they stopped yrs ago well no problem. But then no dug out touring due to a college football game the day before .So all you saw was the same stuff you see while going to a regular game .
i bought tix and a hotel for the monday night cowboys cat game which really capped one of the best times and money i have ever spent!!!!! i live in rochester ny about 350 miles away. i’ve been to 75-100 games in my life(i turned 48 nov 7),but for me my wife and two daughters this was the experience of a lifetime. the stadium empty and seeing and looking around at everything is amazing. the tour guide was great, she was si happy and full of great history. then we ate at the hardrock just to make this a complete and happy memory that my family will never forget. thank you yankee stadium!!!!!!
It was just your basic ballpark tour. We didn’t see anything that you couldn’t see with the price of admission for any event at the stadium. Very disappointing. Save your money and just catch a game.
Finally able to do the Yankee Stadium tour this visit. Glad that we finally had the opportunity - something that we were wanting to do on our previous two visits. If you have any interest in baseball and baseball history; and you find yourself in New York - you see make the effort to take the tour. Our tour guide was very knowledge and seemed to enjoy his job immensely. Big thank-you also to Christine who also took care of my husband.
Guides were courteous and happy, but the tour itself leaves a lot to be desired: Why can’t you walk on the hallowed turf? Why not visit the bullpen? Why not visit the team change rooms? On a similar tour of the Dallas Cowboys Stadium, all this was done & much more! Too much time spent sitting in the media box with little to no information from the guide. Quite disappointed with this tour.
Tour Guide was great, enthusiastic, and lots of knowledge, but just thought the tour was all about Yankees which was great but we thought there might be some acknowledgement of soccer (football), none whatsoever, no NYFC gifts even in the gift shop or any pictures of any of the soccer side of the stadium. not much of a celebration room or trophy room either considering the world wide status and financial status that the yankees has I thought it looked outdated and tired looking. I suggest a visit to Real Madrid F.C. by the marketing team and see what a tour looks like ..........
Went on 4:10 Yankee stadium tour before a 6:35 night game. We went to museum and monument park which were very cool and our guide was excellent but by the time we got to sec’n 105 to watch batting practice the Yankees were already done. We were super disappointed!! My advice is if you’re doing the tour before a game mostly to see BP go to an earlier one...maybe the 3:30 time slot would be early enough?
We have done many baseball stadium tours and this was the worst one i have been on. We were made to feel like criminals and was barely shown any of the park. It was just about an hour and most of the time was spent in the memorial garden and the museum. Would always recommend a staduim tour but not this one.
I would say if you are a die hard Yankees fan, go for it. If not, you can visit the museum and memorial park during game time and save your $US40 each. I expected to see a lot more behind the scenes action.
The Yankee Stadium tour is a must for any Yankee fan. Our tour guide, Frank, did a wonderful job of describing the History of the Yankees and of the new Stadium. Also, being able to sit in the dugout was nothing short of fantastic.
I could stand a field and sit on a players bench! The guide was very nice and took my pictures. Good memoly! Thanks!!
Good except when there is a soccer game the night before, no clubhouse or dugout.
