They were incredible and played an hour and half long set.
YACHT is always going at 150 miles an hour. Hang on tight it's a wild ride.
The best show I have been to in New York and definitely my top 5 performances. What a wild and fun night thanks to an amazing group of performers.
Loved it. Going again the next time they come. Small Venue, but unforgettable experience. Recommended to all.
A great show full of energy, awesome beats, and crowd involvement!
This was my first YACHT concert. I heard that they were fantastic live but wanted to see for myself. They were SO COOL and surpassed my expectations. Looked like they had a ton of fun onstage. They were super energetic, engaging, and entertaining, sounded fantastic, and it seemed like they were extremely grateful for all of their fans. I couldn't take my eyes off of them. Plus, they came down into the crowd and partied while they performed. If you wanted to hang with them at the merch table afterward, they were accessible and easygoing. It was really one of my favorite concerts, and I will be a loyal YACHT fan from now on!
Wow! Yacht is such a powerhouse on stage and really enjoyable to watch! Although I could have done without the opening acts, especially Light Asylum, I honestly had a great time at the concert and know it is all part of how it works. I will definitely go again the next time they are in Portland! The concert is standing up so you have to push your way to the front. There were some people there who were a little annoying because they kept on leaving and coming back. But whatever, its all part of the show and you don't even notice anything when you are listening to their music. Claire and Jona are amazing on stage and I love how Claire interacts with the audience and even goes into it. I will go again and again! I love Yacht!
YACHT nailed it. The energy and performance was above par. Music was tight and continued to deliver the entire show.
The show was so amazing, I'd recommend seeing them live. It was fun, energetic, and personal. It was everything I love about live music
I went to this show cuz I was impatient to hear songs from their new material. Not only was I blown away by all their new songs, the old ones sounded even cooler live! They had a really great energy and claire was a blast to watch and dance with as she jumped into the crowd to dance with the audience. definitely a band to watch, these guys are going places
YACHT proved to be every bit as good as one would expect from the show, and more. They played in front of a small crowd, but instead of getting upset, they expressed their appreciation for those that came and even got off stage to walk among the audience during several performances. After playing a great set (with Bobby Birdman opening and playing in the YACHT band, which was an unexpected bonus), they noted that they'd soon be at the merchandise booth to talk to the fans and sign autographs. During this time they were extremely gracious, appreciative, and it left this fan impressed by their professionalism and overall good nature.
this was a fantastic show, the supporting acts were great and YACHT was fantastic. it may have been a bit of a shock if you were new to the band but you just had to keep in mind that "yacht is not a cult." The music was great and they finished with fan favorite Psychic City before coming out for an encore.
I sadly can't say the show was amazing for two horrible reasons. The TWO openings. I was only exception one, to being with, and they were both just no where near as good as YACHT. Their performance was dull and full of awkward dancing. They had no one to play off of. One set was one Bobby Birdman and a drummer (also the Straight Gaze) and the second set was a girl by herself. She was ok, but just seemed lonely. Together, their sets were just a waste of time. When YACHT came on the whole mood changed. The whole crowd was charged and excited awaiting a beautiful blond and a god clothed in white. They knew exactly what they were doing and mixed banter with performance perfectly. I would love to again meditate with Jona and Claire.
