I've been to a lot of concerts, and by far, this was the most enjoyable. Excellent line up, very high energy, and great songs! They moved the show along very well, and had a revolving stage, so we weren't waiting more than a few minutes for each act, and there were three well placed jumbotrons so that everyone was able to have a good view even if you were not in the expensive seats. Overall, the entire show was very well organized.
Train really surprised me, I wasn't such a fan before, but they put on an excellent show and I am one now!
Taio Cruz was the stand out-- the amount of energy he put into his performance was the best I've ever seen in 16 years of concert going, he had the entire 20,000 people at the stadium on their feet, which was completely unexpected, because I didn't know much about him beforehand, and I certainly didn't think out of all of these great acts, he'd be the one everyone would be talking about, but he was!
Flo Rida was also extremely good and his charisma was infectious, he was also able to get the entire arena up and dancing. His closing performance of "The Club Can't Even Handle Me Right Now" was one of the best songs of the night.
B.O.B. was decent, "Magic" was his standout performance, but "Beautiful Girls" and "Airplanes" were somewhat hampered by only rapping over a vocal track.
Adam Lambert has an insane voice, and it is refreshing to hear such a talented singer belt it out, but he should have kicked the energy up a few notches if he wanted to compete with the rest of these explosive acts. "Fever" was good though. I was hoping he'd do something shocking, or even surprising, but no dice. He was too safe and that was disappointing since Y-100 kept hyping him on the radio, saying he was going to shock us.
Katy Perry did not suck as much as she usually does live, which says a lot, although I suspect she lip synched most of her songs, but she had plenty of Santas on stage to distract us from her inability to carry a tune. She missed her calling as a playboy model, because her vocals are nothing special.
Enrique Iglesias was just alright, but I suppose I'm biased since I'm not a fan of his in general. "You can't Escape My love" and "I like it" were the two bright spots, but Pitbull outshined him. "Hero" would have been such a snoozer if he hadn't brought a girl on stage to serenade.
Selena Gomez was passable, but I suspect she was lip synching as well.
I must have missed Jay Sean, didn't see him perform.
The surprise guest of Pitbull was phenomenal, he really rocked the house and it was well worth the wait!
Worst Moments: Katy Perry's Santa shtick to hide her off key singing/lip synching, Adam Lambert's comatose performance of Whattaya Want from Me, Selena Gomez lip synching over a vocal track.
