    what a wonderful band!

by repsaj on 10/14/14Madison Square Garden - New York

This show was amazing. No opener, just X Japan playing a long set, complete with great lighting and pyrotechnics. And they managed to make an epic arena show feel so intimate. The love coming from this band was phenomenal.

    X Japan was Wonderful!

by Jackrussellmom on 10/14/14Madison Square Garden - New York

I was wondering if the concert would be great or not since this was the first time for X Japan to perform at not only Madison Square Garden but any other major concert halls in the US. It was amazing! Even though they are getting old, the performance was very energetic! I felt the whole audiences were united. I would love to go to their concert again if they come back!

    X-Japan are THEE BEST!!!

by Jesterface6 on 10/14/14Madison Square Garden - New York

I'm so glad I came to see X-Japan live for the first time. I was 10 when I first heard their hit song "X" in the anime called "X". Ever since I loved that song and the band, then 14 years later I finally get to see them and was blown away, and felt the emotion from the bands story. They need to come back again soon and with a new album!!! I can't wait!!!

    X Japan, beautiful

by fengshenwee on 10/14/14Madison Square Garden - New York

Classic X Japan acts. My 4th X Japan concert. Beautiful stage with epic fireworks and confetti but bass a bit too overpowering like the one in Hong Kong. The overpowering bass mute the guitars which I loved. Not sure if it is because the arena is a closed area unlike Taiwan's concert(open aired) or Tokyo Dome which is huge. The piano sounded beautiful though. Sad that most of the audience are actually from Asia. At least half are asians. I wished Americans can check X Japan out and come to love them as much as I do and packed MSG. I do still prefer X Japan in japanese though. Toshi pronunciation still need a lot of work.lol I really enjoyed myself though would go for the concert again.

Being able to attend a real/proper J-rock concert was hands down an amazing experience. This concert drew in the older fans from the 80's, 90's, early 2000's as well as new fans. It was awesome to be able to share this experience with such variety in the crowd. The older fans were crying out of nostalgia and the younger fans were screaming with excitement. Definitely a rare opportunity and I hope to go to another one of their concerts again in the future!

    X-Japan had an insane performance

by AlexR84 on 10/14/14Madison Square Garden - New York

The show was awesome and what you'd expect from X-Japan. The fan base may not be as huge as the one in Japan, but MSG was still nicely filled, and the fans were definitely no less fanatic then any of their Japanese counter parts. The performance was filled with emotion and at some points overwhelming mixed in with just plain rocking. The one thing that did bother me was the sound and technical difficulties MSG had. The sound was very distorted especially up in the higher ranges, Toshi has a very high voice so that definitely stretched the system a bit, the guitar solo's also didn't feel as tight since the system didn't seem to keep up with the pitch.

    X Japan was Amazing!

by KrunchyMonchy on 10/14/14Madison Square Garden - New York

The show was choreographed beautifully, the songs performed perfectly, it was truly a sight to behold, and they even made an audience a part of the show in a way! If you have a chance to see them, DO IT! It is well worth it!

    WE ARE X

by neko013 on 10/14/14Madison Square Garden - New York

I don't know if I have ever felt more connected to people whom I have never before met, but the connection was palpable at X-Japan's show. This band has done something amazing - bridged an international gap and defied a language barrier. This show was both thrilling and touching. Toshi's voice was spot-on and Yoshiki's piano and drum skills shone as always.

    X Japan

by Kimship on 10/14/14Madison Square Garden - New York

This concert was amazing! I'm so happy was able to see them live, since I've been listening to them since I was in high school, but after they broke up. Everyone around me was moving and jumping to the music and singing along. Toshi sounded great! His voice has not lost its edge! Yoshiki is always amazing. I loved seeing and hearing Pata and Heath during their guitar and bass "fight". Sugizo was loving the attention, I could tell, and I loved it when he broke out his violin! I love classical instruments in rock music(it's one of the many reasons I love X Japan and Yoshiki!). The tributes to hide and Taiji definitely made me tear up, but it was good to see them and made it feel like they were down there, rocking out with everyone else.

    Historic Concert - Absolutely unforgettable

by Phelixia25 on 10/14/14Madison Square Garden - New York

This concert honestly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime event, and no other concert will ever come close to the live performance given by X Japan. The various pyrotechnics mixed with their sheer skill and passion for performing made the event surreal and even, at times, magical. The concert was extremely interactive, with X calling out to the crowd frequently and getting the crowd to sing. There were also pretty emotional moments, like Yoshiki's speech and any time they reference their deceased band mates hide or Taiji. I honestly cannot sing their praises enough to do their live performance justice.
