BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Wynonna rose to fame in the early '80s performing with her mother Naomi in the legendary country duo the Judds. Between 1984-1991 the mother-daughter pair released three No. 1 albums and fourteen No. 1 singles, and by the time Wynona launched her solo career in the early '90s she was already country music royalty. Her self-titled 1992 debut album topped the country charts, as did its first three singles "She Is His Only Need", "I Saw the Light", and "No One Else On Earth". Three more Top 5 country albums followed in the decade, establishing her as one of the genre's most influential and revered artists. Her success continued in the '00s with the chart-topping 2003 album What the World Needs Now is Love and the genre-spanning 2009 album Sing: Chapter 1, which spawned her first hit on the US Hot Dance Club Songs chart. A veteran performer with enough charm and charisma to fill even the biggest amphitheater, Wynona continues to dazzle on perennial tours with her band The Big Noise.

While her voice is still amazingly strong and the band was superb she ruined the show by endlessly talking about how hard her life on the road with her mom was...endlessly. It was a bummer and eventually we left early. He self pity party she was throwing for herself was too much to take. We all Have a story and she could have said a bit and then let everyone enjoy the show we paid for. But she didnt
The concert was amazing I truely enjoyed every minute. Her voice is stronger than ever. The set was long, no cheating there, money well spent. She was engaging with the audience and funny. Really looking forward to her next show in my area. She was great!
This theater is the perfect venue! First time at this location...and it was the best place! Wynonna is a true performer. It felt like we were just hanging out and she was singing and talking to us all on an individual basis.
From the moment Wynonna walked on stage, opened her mouth to sing & then to the moment she walked from the stage...simply stunning, mesmerizing, sassy, personable, raw, honest & adding the Big Noise?? Heart stopping...hauntingly beautiful & unbelievable talent from Wynonna & the Big Noise. Highly recommended!! The theatre was beautiful as well...intimate.
Wynonna was engaging with the audience, and her voice is great! The band was excellent, too. All in all it was great fun.
This was an energy-packed show with an array of multi-talented musicians on display. Wynonna did the show like the barefoot contessa--no shoes. I wondered why. Maybe she should have explained that. The music wasn't exactly what I would call traditional Country-Western. It had more of a rock flavor, so those expecting the kind of music you might hear from Dolly Parton, Tammy Wynette, Rosanne Cash, Carrie Underwood, etc. might have been disappointed. Wynonna is a fiery entertainer with great pipes and an uncanny ability to connect with the audience. In fact, she had a couple of guys come up on stage for selfies and even talked to a woman on the phone during the event. In noticed a lot of empty seats--possibly because this was a make-up show for one that she cancelled because of illness (I assume) in December.
My wife and I have seen Wynonna in concert two other times. This was a much more unplugged show. The opening song was performed acapella which was terrific because Wynonna's voice is so incredible to listen to. She stated her intent was to be more connected to her audience and this was accomplished in our opinion. If you are a true, long time, fan this was a great experience. She brought audience members on stage, talked to people directly, and even talked to a fan on the phone. If you are wanting to see her perform a playlist of all of her greatest hits this is not the show for you.
Great voice, intimate show, and great song selection.

What a great show, Wynonna is a great performer. The band was out of this world. Have seen her a few times and this show stands out.
This concert was special to me as it was a present to myself for my 60th birthday. A lifelong friend went with me and we were both very pleasantly surprised at what a great show it turned out to be. Wynnona is not one to be shy and she immediately started a raporre with the audience. She invited numerous fans to take selfies with her between sets and the band is made up of awesome seasoned musicians. The slide guitar player did a solo set and we had never heard the slide played in rock and roll fashion but he burned it up. I would certainly recommend anyone that has not seen her in concert to not let her pass you by again. Thanks ticket master you made the entry so easy!
Such a great performer. Very genuine and so extremely talented. This venue was also very nice. Although the seats weren’t oversized by any means they were comfortable. I don’t think there was a bad seat in the house.
Wynonna was amazing as always. If you haven't seen her before, you must go to her show. If you have seen her before, you must go again! Her voice gets better all the time and her interaction with the audience will leave you laughing in between the hits.
The show at Beau Rivage was incredible. Wynonna put on a great show as always & this one, was incredible. She connected with the fans after the show and didn’t mind talking with fans or taking pics before leaving the stage. Her voice sounded amazing.
I loved the smaller venue and her interacting with the crowd. Her voice is so versatile.
Show was ok. If you’re a really big Y fan and don’t care what she sings, you’d enjoy it but music was a total departure from her old stuff. I only recognized 3-4 songs. She’s now doing kind of a jazz/ blues style, which she has the voice for, but was not what I went to hear.
Wynonna was at her best at the Beau Rivage Theater. A delightfully intimate venue with nice sound and good video screens. Vocally you just can't beat Wynonna's range and styles from traditional country to a little bit of rock with some blues in the mix, she owns them all with her own unique touch. Hope she returns to the venue soon.
I have been to many concerts up at the Deadwood Mountain Grand and Wy rates right up there with Dolly Pardon for entertainment and her vocals were excellent. Some singers come into the Mountain Grand for a show with their voices in rough shape but not Wynonna....she was spot on. Nice job. I would attend one of her shows again and would bring friends. She was very engaging with the audience and so fun.
I was disappointed in the concert. I wanted more of Wy, not drum solos. Her voice is very strong, but I missed hearing more of her standards. Less talk, more music please.
As soon as she started singing I got chill bumps and tears, I love her
