With the release of her 1992 self-titled solo debut, Wynonna emerged as a singular force in American music. Beyond the five Grammy Awards, the multi-platinum albums and sold-out tours, the country/soul vocalist built on the Appalachian traditionalism that defined The Judds to create a world where Top 5 dance/club hits were as possible as being inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Having practically grown up as America's favorite musical daughter, Wynonna matured into a woman who embraced how life is filled with peaks and valleys, great thrills, and heavy disappointment. Those realities informed her 5-times platinum Wynonna and nearing 3-times platinum Tell Me Why, the albums that gave voice to every human being emerging into their own adulthood with joy in their heart.

Seats were comfortable, and the show was just a brilliant, moving experience. The opening band No Deceit just killed it! And Wynonna is a powerhouse and seemed to enjoy every single second of her performance. She & her band were engaging with the audience, making the show so much more enjoyable. It was a perfect night!

No Deceit and Wynonna at the AMP

We also, enjoy the food and drinks while enjoying the music. This particular concert which was opened by the No Deceit band and finishing with the main act Wynonna Judd was one of the best shows we experienced at this venue. We will definitely be attending more concerts at the AMP…

The emcee introduced her as having these, which isWhy my husband and I attended. She and her band only played about 2 or 3 of these. Most songs were new songs of which I had never heard or were someone else’s songs.

She was very connected to the crowd and truly enjoyed being back on stage. The small town Kentucky crowded screamed with excitement. The Amp and Log Still facility is top notch. I will be back!
She's Still Got It

However, for a person with the number of hits that she has under her belt, she performed a lot of covers. While they were good, we wish she would have stuck more to her own material. Otherwise, a really good show.

Not Ready for Prime Time

Wynonna did a lot of talking mostly about how amazing her husband and his band is and a little singing. Wynonna's singing voice is still amazing and strong but the band was so loud it overpowered her so it was hard to tell. I didn't come to see the back up band, I came to see Wynonna perform and that hardly happened. I understand that Wynonna has struggled over the last few years with her health, unfortunately, she doesn't seem ready for this tour.

However, she never sang one of her solo songs - "Tell Me Why," "I Saw the Light," "Rock Bottom," "No One Else on Earth," "My Strongest Weakness," "Girls With Guitars," or "Only Love." She did several Judds songs (which I loved), but none of her own solo work - was very confusing.
