About

With the release of her 1992 self-titled solo debut, Wynonna emerged as a singular force in American music. Beyond the five Grammy Awards, the multi-platinum albums and sold-out tours, the country/soul vocalist built on the Appalachian traditionalism that defined The Judds to create a world where Top 5 dance/club hits were as possible as being inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Having practically grown up as America's favorite musical daughter, Wynonna matured into a woman who embraced how life is filled with peaks and valleys, great thrills, and heavy disappointment. Those realities informed her 5-times platinum Wynonna and nearing 3-times platinum Tell Me Why, the albums that gave voice to every human being emerging into their own adulthood with joy in their heart.

Beyond the groundbreaking music she and her mother created as The Judds, Wynonna has grown into her once-in-a-generation vocal prowess with an ease that made people clamor to her. "No One Else On Earth," "Tell Me Why," "She Is His Only Need," "Girls With Guitars," and "I Saw The Light" set the next chapter in motion of for the girl from Ashland, Kentucky who became a global superstar.

    Short on excitement

by PBuck on 5/10/10Silver Spurs Arena At Osceola Heritage Park - Kissimmee

I have seen Wynonna several times and I thought she was wonderful. This concert was the exception. Her voice seemed to be not as powerful as I have heard in the past and she talked way too much about life and jesus, etc.

What a great way to spend a Mother's Day with husband and daughters. Dinner first was deliciious and the concert was great! What an emotional person she is and shows it in her music. My daughters (ages 37 & 33) had never been to her show before and loved it.

    stop talking

by 321pxc on 5/10/10Silver Spurs Arena At Osceola Heritage Park - Kissimmee

When she sang, she sang great, but she spent more time talking than singing. It was the most boring show i have ever been to.

Wynonna was good but too chatty!

by VFHODAK on 5/10/10Silver Spurs Arena At Osceola Heritage Park - Kissimmee

Loved the intimate concert setting. Wynonna looked great and sounded awesome. Wanted to hear more songs! Could have done with half the chatter & twice as many songs. She performed for less than 90 minutes!

    Wynonna

by KKofMO on 12/20/09Rickman Auditorium - Arnold

She was sensational. She played for almost 2 hours with a few wardrobe changes. The Palmetto State Gospel Quartet made such a difference in her deliverence of music. It was a very small group she played to so the stage wasn't 'all out' as if it were in a colliseum. It was very appropriate for the Christmas season. Along with her Christmas music she played some of her best oldies. She ended it with a wonderful encore.

Wynonna is incomparable, and she proved so once again Sunday Dec 13th when she brought her incredible Christmas Show to Rickman Auditorium in Arnold, MO. Her vocals were stunning and her voice shined on the acapello version of "How Great Thou Art." She brought the fans to their feet at least 4 times with roaring ovations. The set was beautiful and Wynonna looked gorgeous in 3 costume changes. Wynonna puts on a show not to be missed, anytime.

    Wynonna was awesome!

by Sisterfriends on 12/15/09Rickman Auditorium - Arnold

What an awesome show! Wy really sings from her soul! She feels what she sings. An awesome performer she is. She doesn't just stand up there and sing song after song , she interacts with the crowd and gives it her own special personal touch. What an amazing gift she has. I am so glad she shares it with us.

    A Beautiful Tribute to Christmas

by angelesenmivida on 12/14/09Rickman Auditorium - Arnold

Wynona has an amazing voice! She had as beautiful of a disposition, through interaction with the audience as when she sang. It was nice to hear some of the "golden oldies" that she sang and ALL of the Christmas music left me happy, at peace, and a little teary eyed more than once. Great job Wynona on entertainment at its finest!!

    Wynonna was at her best!

    by 1STLFan on 12/14/09Rickman Auditorium - Arnold

Wynonna was as powerful as ever. She has an amazing voice with amazing control. Her emotions were so real and the love she projected may you feel a part of her and her success. I love small venues for concerts because they allow you to feel closer to the artist. After 25 years she has become a very classy lady. Yeah, she is still a sexy diva too! Her song selections were good. It was not all Christmas although the songs of Christmas were fabulous. She gave alittle of her best songs and some new songs. She shared her stories and emotions with a very loving audience. She wanted everyone to forget all there troubles for the evening. She accomplished that! Thank you Wynonna for a wonderful evening.

25 years later, she is AWESOME!

by Quikwitshan on 12/14/09Rickman Auditorium - Arnold

I think I saw The Judds with either Reba or Randy at the Fox Theatre in 1986......for the first time, with many to follow, including their farewell tour. Then I saw Wy as she was never better a couple times. I have a sixteen year old daughter who loves older country.....as well as the new...and when Taylor Swift won Entertainer of the year, I told her how much she would have loved Wynonnas older stuff....she loves "why not me". Wynonna has a VOICE, with her abilty to entertain, however, I'm from St. Louis and not once did I hear her being played or the announcement of her show.....the day of! Sad!

    Amazing Show

by chinadad on 12/14/09Rickman Auditorium - Arnold

Was not sure what to expect in such a small auditorium, but Wynonna did not disappoint. She sang a variety of songs including gospel, christmas, her classics, and even a rock song or two. She talked to the audience alot and made jokes about her personal life. My wife and I had a great time and enjoyed every minute of it. Well, my wife's had comments about Wynonna's wardrobe, but the singing was beautiful.
